Leslie's insanity is so random and unnecessary today. On a side note it seems like she might be trying to intentionally ruin Eva's relationship with Izaiah because she is unhappy with her own life, but who knows if that's what direction the writers are going for.

I am so over Nicole and her games with Carlton and Kial. Pick one or leave both of them alone.

The dream sequence was nicely done and was a reminder that something big needs to happen on the show right now. Not necessarily a death, but we are lacking movement and culmination of even partial story elements.

Ok - that dream lasted two scenes, so I thought maybe it was real... I was getting worried! LOL

Yeah, that was weird. A dream sequence should never last more than one scene. Dreams are not interrupted by reality, and then back to the dream. And please don't tell me it's just a soap.

It has happened on other soaps. There are no rules.

So many insufferable characters on this show. Leslie is really getting on my nerves, I hope this season marks her arrest and some jail time for attempted murder. Both Kial and Carlton get on my nerves. Nicole already raised her children, does she want to have to raise two more?

I laughed when I saw Jacob open the door and facing the door, we saw yet another Brick Wall!

-- I was ok with the dream fake out, but Naomi should not have opened the door to that motel room without knowing who was on the other side. She and Jacob are both clueless.

-- Eva still has no boundaries when her mother, which means she continues to enable her.

-- That talk with naked Izaiah and all the Eva wedding stuff? Leslie is certifiable.

-- Izaiah looks really good without clothes, but I still don't feel it between him and Eva.

-- I have no problem with Madison and Chelsea planning a wedding a year+ in advance. That's realistic. However, it's not exactly soap gold. As others have pointed out, we need some big things to happen.

-- Kial and Carlton act like fighting teenagers, but Nicole is no better. I'm sorry, there's no adult in the room.

I know it has happened on other soaps. But whataboutism doesn't convince me of anything. Two wrongs (even many wrongs) do not make a right. I have high expectations for soap operas. I also understand some people have low expectations for soap operas.

And I didn't suggest it was a rule. I was just giving my opinion. People disagree with me fairly often.

All I said, it has happened on other soaps and there are no rules as to how a dream sequence should go.

There is nothing more to it.

I know there are no rules for dream sequences on soaps, but now that they've done this across scenes, they shot their shot.

I don't think they can go to that well again.

She's no better, I agree. At one point, she's bragging about the two men, competing for her attention but Kial asking for his watch in front of Carlton, obviously made Nicole feel uncomfortable because she still seems to want to be viewed as if on her pedestal. This triangle strikes me as kind of pathetic tbh.

Yep. I would respect the one who walked away from this mess.

The dream sequence was fine. I do agree with @ranger1rg that now that they've pulled that stunt they can't employ it again, at least not successfully for a while. It seemed silly to use that fake out on such low stakes character like Jacob. I do like Jacob, but he can leave the canvas now and I wouldn't think much of it. I'd actually rank Ashley and Derek above him these days.

The competing weddings would be a fun idea, but May 2027? Leslie was chaotic, but not in a way that bothered me unlike when she was hounding the Duprees and Dupree adjacents for press details. I do know I'm a bit more tolerant of Leslie than some on here though.

Nicole and her lover boys is ok. I have enjoyed it more than I did today.

But there are on this soap, because there have to be rules. C'mon now. You know that.
