Why is a newbie character always being followed, eventually trying to be murdered?

The shooting with Liam, JJ, and Shawn was well done, even with the one-cent budget.

Dimitri and Andrew were oozing with chemistry in today's episode. It was like Leo almost wasn't there. The looks Andrew was giving Dimitri during his scenes with Leo were obvious.

It's time to recast Paul. This him being outside but not seen is for the birds.

By the way, all the men minus Leo looked really hot in today's episode.

Thank you. I remember the baseball job, but I couldn't remember if Paul was low key working for Black Patch or something or was actual ISA. It does beg the question of what the ISA qualifications are though. Cat would be the biggest example here.

I love that we finally got to see them together despite Leo lol Peter and Colton really are chemistry magnets.

Hopefully, Andrew returns to Alamainia when he’s done dropping off Leo, and we get lots more scenes of him and Dimitri 😍😂😂

I don't understand the Alamain family tree, nor do I think the show does or have bothered to explain. I am not sure who's alive and who's not, but I would assume at least Nicky Alamain is alive.

Days doesn't even try to pretend it's a real country. I sort of assumed Vivian is the de-facto Queen.

Thanks. If they were still doing Beyond Days they should have a whole story about Vivian going around as queen of Alamania and dignitaries of other countries humoring her.

At least they've managed a better job than that country from the early '00s where all the royals were blown away (what was that again?).

I remember the Greta's Coronation and the massacre, but I have no idea what country she was princess of. Maybe someone will remember? For some reason I think the show was vague because she inherited after Princess Gina (the real one) died.

Tying these two together, and paging @JAS0N47 -- Were all those guest stars supposed to be royalty from various countries other than Greta's, or were they the nobility and/or non-reigning royals of Greta's country?

While we're on the subject, the Princess Greta storyline belongs to a time that feels farther away in the past than it actually is ... those rebuilding years for the British Royal Family, when Diana's death was a recent memory, William was being presented as the international dream guy, and Andrew & Fergie were seen as quirky eccentrics* rather than the scum of the earth.

*Quirky, greedy eccentrics.

It took a little while lol but Liam finally looked hot today 😍😍😂

It was nice to see Ari caring for him. They’re ok together. I like them. And I’m interested in seeing where they go from here. There’s a lot of potential for good storyline with them.

But I do have to admit that it’s very strange that it’s a new day in Salem, as opposed to taking place immediately after the end of yesterday. I would much rather have seen Shawn be rushed into surgery and everybody holding a vigil around him, as opposed to just hearing about it the next morning. Sarah telling Hope that there’s no reason for her and Bo to rush back to Salem because Shawn’s gonna be ok was strange too. They really should do with them what they just did with Paul; having them there but just not seeing them. I mean, that’s their child 😂😂

But I did enjoy Shawn and JJ’s scenes today and the talk that they had. I’m looking forward to seeing this all play out both for Shawn and JJ, especially since Shawn brought that he had to kill Klaus because of JJ’s inaction. I hope Days starts investing in their friendship again. It should be one of the strongest friendships on Days, IMO. They both looked really good too 😊😊

I’m interested in seeing if Belle and Jada get weaved into this whole situation too. Jada/Elia works much better with Shawn/Brandon than she does with a lot of other characters and actors. And with Belle declaring that she’s moving in with Shawn to help him recover, I’m curious to see what’s going to happen.

And as much I don’t like the Sophia/Rachel storyline, the cliffhanger ending with Tate was actually a nice surprise.
