I'm honestly surprised she's stayed on the cast as long as she has. She always felt like a six-month type of hire.

Same here, lol.

Bless her heart but Jackee has been mostly terrible since she joined, but has gotten worse.

It seems like she thinks Days is a comedy. Which, fair, girl, fair. It is sometimes. She makes the most exaggerated facial expressions when she was literally talking to HERSELF today about Abe and their marriage. There isn't a studio audience here Jackee!

I saw Jackee's interview with Greg/Rebecca Budig and it's the dentures. Maybe they're new and not a good fit just like Nancy Pelosi. I'm amazed at the number of actors (not just from daytime but some famous movie stars) who can't talk because they're teeth rotted and they have dentures. Get a cleaning every six months, water pic twice a day and brush and floss frequently! PS: I loved JH on Another World and as Mary in night time but the combo of those two character is really all she ever knew how to play.

Agree with all of this.

Jackee is painful to watch, but she's entertaining in real life. She's very limited and one-note on screen, and Paulina is one of the reasons I gave up on DAYS. Just cartoonish for no reason and taping 100 years ahead doesn't help. All of her worst acting tics came out on DAYS. She was more restrained, and her comedic timing was more effective on Sister, Sister.

And yes, I wish people cared more about their teeth. It's a pet peeve of mine.

I never thought I'd see the day when "Sister, Sister" would be talked about in positive terms, lol.

I would give Sister, Sister a much more positive review than whatever is happening with Jackee on Days.

I think Jackee is just taking her old friend, Dorothy Lyman's, advice that she gave her before joining AW and making herself stand out from the rest of the DAYS cast. Are her methods working? No. But I get it.

Dentures.

I should’ve known, after years of watching Josh Taylor 😂😂

I'm still wondering if Eli & Lani are actually moving back to Salem full-time.

Julie said the move is supposed to be permanent

Days in particular has so many "way past their prime" actors who need to retire. Yes, Josh but Deidre too. Susan Hayes has aged so gracefully and should be on a long term contract with a Horton house set that befits her (and the show's) legacy instead of that beyond tacky (maddening) remodeled, post fire (strike storyline) set. And some of the men who are still in their prime don't look great. The show is just not fun to watch with sound on or off. But the other shows have similar problems: GH must have a cosmetic dermatologist on set because (nearly) every actor regardless of age looks like they just came from a botox/filler/laser session. Faces don't move. Y&R is a mixed bag of paralyzed filler faces and some gracefully aging performers. B&B is unwatchable unless you want to OD on lip and facial filler or you love Thorsten's voice. BTG looks good for the most part.

Deidre looks and acts fresher than most in her age range so I don't think we should shuttle her off to the retirement home just yet. Josh Taylor? Fair enough.

I love Jackée whether she's playing up herself of not. She's entertaining to me, and I hope with upcoming casting changes, it won't affect her continued stay on DAYS. I'm still wondering if Eli & Lani are actually moving back to Salem full-time.

I’m right here with you. I like the different energy she brings.

TBF, she's playing Paulina pretty similar to her Lily Mason stint on AW.

I agree! She's had "work" done, but not at the level of, say, Joan Van Ark?
