GH may be the most sexless show out of 3 soaps I still watch. Just a town full of mostly single people and couples that don’t have sex ever.

It really is. I mean I can't think of anyone on the show I would truly consider promiscuous as a female. I think we can all agree there are men on the show (named Sonny) that are but even he's had a real dry spell.

I know this is a soap so they need the show's designated cops investigate everything. But in what world would a detective be tasked with investigating his own brother? Dante and especially Chase should have been recused from all of this a long time ago. How can Diane defend michael when she works at the same firm as Alexis?

I suspect the Danny thread is also key here. She can still hold the Danny/Scout card over Alexis' head re: the restraining order if she needs to, and I suspect that is why she is not letting Alexis put the siblings together yet (while giving Scout to Alexis). Not because she plans to let Drew handle it. She knows Drew won't be speaking up any time soon. It's leverage on Alexis.

I regret to inform you all I am once again at my wit's end with Britt after today's show. You know it's bad when a situation makes me root for Carly in this day and age.

The issues are many but first and foremost is the writing trying to suggest that these spurts of truly horrendous behavior are all a deeply noble, selfless act to push people away so she can't put their lives in danger - except as many have noted online this is how Britt just already acts all the time, period. This is her baseline. There's no difference! There is no deeper, intimate core of this character that makes her any more palatable or shows any better side. There's just more whining and self-pity. And her sentiments about Rocco and needing Lulu to 'get out of the way' of their 'relationship' aren't fake either, among other wild shìt she's said.

Almost as annoying though is her constantly whining about Carly being in the middle of her relationship with Jason and acting like she's somehow the only one who's ever brought this up in Port Charles, like her opinions are so novel and daring. It's giving Skye when she used to pretend she had been with the Quartermaines for her whole life and started saying 'Grandfather' 5 minutes after arriving on the show (and then wasn't even related to them). Girl, you and Jason fùcked like twice. Their relationship was barely a thing til now. If you want to talk to people who have been banging this drum since the Clinton administration talk to Robin or Elizabeth, who actually had long-standing involvement with these people and Carly's insane obsession and suffered real consequences for it. That shìt went on for years. Sam could talk about it too if she was alive. But they do this with Britt in part because they know there is an audience for it, so they figure 'hey, if Britt says it that'll get those fans on her side.' This was the same crass calculation Carlivati made about serial killer Franco suddenly deciding to have long speeches about the evils of Sonny and Carly in 2014, like suddenly mob violence outrages the BTK Killer. No thanks! I'll pass!

The other difference between her and Kimberly McCullough or Becky Herbst is that KT has never had much skill for dramatic nuance or pathos, and snark only gets you so far. She's proven that in her several stints on the show followed by her multiple dramatic exits. So she can't put anything over beyond this baseline ugly behavior that is just Britt's resting state, yet I'm still supposed to care. I don't! I didn't have to root for Kari Wuhrer or Angel Boris just because their characters were against Carly, so I'm not going to start with this bitch. I've hated Britt from Day 1 and she's never changed, so why should I?

Then she brought up Bobbie! Like just clock her, Carly. You can have this one, I'm good.

The writing for Britt is soooo bad. Did the writers really need to bring in a random dayplayer to threaten her so she could go back to being shrill and obnoxious, to supposedly save the ones she loves? Give me a break 🤢 This is what people want to see? 🤮 Just let Britt act like a normal person for awhile for goodness sake.

The writing for Willow is so heavy-handed. Obviously she's going to cause multiple deaths. I'd guess Kai will be first, and that since it's her first killing, it'll be accidental. Didn't her adopted mother, Harmony, accidentally kill someone as the first step to going full psycho?

Since Chase is so expendable now, they should totally unravel the character -- have him have an affair, lose everything, discover that Willow's evil and then be killed by her. Hopefully the performances will be memorable!

I don't think Willow is going to go on a killing spree too soon. If she was going to kill Drew she could've done it. As @titan1978 and I have both said, that locks out her story future too quickly and she could run for several more years. Would I hate it? No, it'd be entertaining but it would be a huge waste of potential for that to happen right now.

I think the show wants Carly to have an adversary and Britt seems to be everywhere now.

To @Vee 's point, Carly/Britt don't have this long standing feud. She's not Brenda, Robin, Liz, Sam, or anyone important. Carly doesn't like any of Jason's girlfriends much besides Courtney, so there is no reason to be pressed about someone Jason isn't even dating lol. I need her to make some sort of epic speech like the elevator speech to Sam with TB's Carly regarding Brenda. Iykyk! Saying something like "Britt you will never be Sam, Robin, or even Liz Get out of my establishment and don't come back."

She really does. I'd be here for it. But that would just radicalize people further who will root for literally anyone who doesn't like Carly. I have been at my fill with the current state of Carly for years but even I need a better class of hater.
