I'm gonna give them this... I rewatched the Brooke vs Katie scene many times and I can't stop laughing when Brooke repeats you can't use my name like Katie doesn't exist. God I love selfish self absorbed narcissistic Brooke. She is such a ride.

I'm gonna give this to the hack writer... This has potential. He better not ruin it.

So far so good. Refreshing to see Katie & Brooke have conflict rooted in their history & personalities rather than fighting over a man.

Thanks for posting this -- it's what we see in EVERY B&B set where there's a window or an outdoor background. They're all terrible and beyond fake looking.

This would be a good set if not for that horrific background. The view from $Bill's office is always that awful smog/fog filled nightmare. The Il Giardino set is much better, but the background is worse. The window view in Eric's living room is tragic.

Well, if you don't have a story for one and you're trying to force another on us, what do you do?

Homoerotic shower scenes outdoors.

@Jeff

A heads up if you haven't watched.😁

This is Brooke, not the saint "her sh*t don't stink" version. This is how they should write her

So it's okay for Hope to use the Logan name for her line but heaven forbid Katie use it, lmao

I checked in Friday and a little today.

It reminded me of something that has been a problem on this show from the very beginning. It’s fine to have the “Haves” beat the “Have Nots” for awhile. But it becomes repetitive and usual when the Forresters come out on top every single time, or when a Forrester wins or you don’t even get to see them lose. It’s gone on for years.

For the first decade and a half - the Forresters beat Spectra, Spectra steals the designs and then Forrester wins.

There were times where Spectra almost rose above but they never quite get there and Forrester comes out smelling like a rose. In recent history - a few years ago Sally vs. Steffy in a SS design battle. And because Bill Spencer ignored and hid the results - Sally lost. She had won, but had to lose. Because a Forrester can never lose (Steffy).

For how many years is Hope for the Future needing to be saved? Have another company capture the market - but instead it gets saved again and again. Albeit for Hope, but still a Forrester product.

It’s years beyond stale. As is the dialogue. You don’t even have to do a lot of research for accuracy to be fresh with dialogue. Example. How about if the conversation turns common sense and have people speak the way real people speak.

re: Brooke and the name.

Katie: It’s our last name, Brooke. You don’t own it more than anyone else. Donna too, and Storm. You don’t get to “own” our name. So what did you trademark? Logan by Forrester? Logan, Inc.? The Logan line at Fashions by Forrester?

Brooke: the Bedroom line is part of the overall LOGAN collection, we just don’t market it that way or put it on the tag, and Brooke’s Bedroom Line worked because of my name.

Katie: Right. But the name LOGAN? Just because Ridge calls you that - you think you own the name? Really you guys - be smarter than that. I’m sure - someone do a search for God sake. There is likely a LOGANS bar or Restaurant in every major city. You gonna sue them for selling chicken fingers with your name on it?

Etc. Etc. instead of not making any valid arguments and Brooke being the high and mighty Valley Girl - the dialogue comes off as : UM Shyeah because it’s like — My NAME Katie. Dumb.

Have Katie get nasty.

“Ridge sure forgot your name when he barked up my tree. Come on Ridge, right? You weren’t impressed because I knew poetry. You saw that I grew up. Brooke you remember when you laughed and said “you’re just a girl, you were my little sister blah blah blah. Well, you were wrong and Ridge did want a piece of this. Sorry, but it happened. I am an Adult and time after time you act like you have no idea that I grew UP. People change, life changes. And WORK changes. You don’t own fashion and truthfully Forrester has struggled with a younger market for years. I should know - I’ve had to PR our way around it for years.

Bill: Katie, what was last year’s increase or decrease in the age demographic for Hope for the Future’s average consumer?”

Katie: Brooke, you wanna answer that? You know the business front to back, right?

Brooke is silent.

Katie: Ridge you wanna take that one question - say, pretend from Jean at the LA times? She’s waiting.

Ridge starts in “Wait you want some kudos, Katie for knowing your real role and job? Not our job to know demographics down to decimal points.”- Bill cuts him off: “WHAT? Wait WHAT? It’s not your job to know your own business but you’re arguing over a last name!? My God that’s funny. Is Katie proving anything to you yet? Sounds like a knowledgeable business person to me, and frankly you both have sounded ridiculous all afternoon with this arguing. Looks like you better brush up on some groundwork instead of burying your nose in fabric, Ridgester.”

give us REAL dialogue, not simple stale and for God sakes it’s time to let them LOSE for a few years.
