I had already dropped GH by that time and completely missed Nixon Falls.

Sonny was bearable during Nixon Falls, but that was just a blip -- and such a blip that it feels like The show wants us to forget it ever happened.

At this pojnt, the character Sonny is awful in both writing and in execution.

I also would not be a fan of a storyline that tried to make me like Sonny just because he has amnesia. He’s a terrible person memories or not.

I know people had issues with the story but Jane Elliot really sold that genuine apology to Ronnie after hearing Ronnie use a line Monica always used on Tracy.

I actually feel bad for Lucas as I actually like he and Marco together.

:(

I think I remember myself feeling that I liked it as something refreshing different for Sonny even if it dragged in the middle. And Maurice was engaged for the most part. And I think you know I live for Carly vs Nina.

The one thing that I really liked though that once it came out and Sonny was back in PC was how Maurice was playing him. For a little bit of time...too little IMHO...it felt like Maurice played Sonny as a whole different character. It never felt like Sonny even though everyone in his world treated him that way. He was acting like 'Mike,' the person he was when he had amnesia. And watching Sonny and 'Mike' integrate was interesting to watch. That was down to how Maurice played him. Usually when someone lose their memories and remember them again, it just immediately goes back to status quo so I liked the dichotomy that Maurice played the character.

Same. But I guess I DID want that Brad/Lucas/Marco triangle. And it's nice to see gay couples having story.

Actually loved the Quartermaines having to come back and apologize to Tracy and the group hug was great.

I will never be upset that I got this brief time to see Erika Slezak back on my tv. Her final scenes with Gio were really sweet. I actually love that this story was the catalyst for Gio embracing being a Quartermaine.

I just think Lucas caN and should do so much better than Brad and initially Marco was 😭

He was different. AND they had chemistry and potential. I just wanted a gay character in a believable triangle on a soap for once. lol.

Lucas/Marco have such a different vibe than gay couples I've typically seen on soaps. I love that. And I liked how it developed before I stopped watching again. So I was sad to come to regularly viewing and now it seems like they get basically cameos (usually separate from each other) while as usual the writers stall out the story to keep Sidwell around. And with Marco now being no different than Brad, it will be an interesting thing to see Lucas play.

As I said any story that’s supposed to make me like Sonny just because he doesn’t have his memories is a total non starter lol.

And you know I'm not a Sonny fan outside of Brenda, but I like they tried something different. But I understand.

They truly had potential and were getting good writing for a gay couple on soaps so it sucks that it’s coming to this already.

IKR. I was happy that I got to at least watch Marco's intro and the actor (who also played the Richie lookalike on LOOKING I discovered recently) immediately had presence. And I got to see some of their interactions once he was in PC from Miami. It was very nice to watch.

To think they were starting before Martin and Smitty had been established enough on BTG. Back then Martin/Smitty didn't have much going on while Lucas/Marco were getting story. Imagine almost a year later, Martin and Smitty are now with the chemistry and story and pretty central on BTG and Lucas/Marco get sacred screen-time is hilarious.

I would agree if this wasn't GH, and this wasn't the GH fanbase. I was surprised they even did as much as they did with Lucas in terms of intimacy.

Howso?

I love and was surprised at the level of intimacy Lucas has gotten. That scene of him and Marco in bed for most of one episode was great. I think you have to go all the way back to the beginning of RC's Lucas and Brad in...2013/2014 to get anything close to that.
