This sub-forum is called music & movies, so why not a thread about music in movies?  I'm not talking about famous hit-singles from movies, but about the instrumental soundtrack. There is a wealth of beautiful movie music out there. Music that takes you back in time, evokes memories and stirs emotions inside you. Majestic music, scary music, music that makes you cry or music that makes you smile.

 

At one point, this was my morning alarm because it does one of my favorite things, building from one voice to an entire choir and orchestra.  If you feel like a day when you are gearing up for a battle, this is the song to get you prepared.

This is, to me, is one of the most romantic montages, from Colin Firth arriving in Portugal to rescue his new love, to Hugh Grant going to school's Winter Performance, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster running through Heathrow.  It breaks my heart.
