I agree with this. I don’t actually need to see Carly in love at this point.

Hard agree. To the degree that I want to see Carly at all, I want to see her being a hotheaded hypocrite who’s constantly picking catfights. (Also, let’s face it, no man will ever measure up to her weird dependency on Jason.)

Thank you both. Wow - what a story!  So why would Rocco want to have a relationship with Britt? I get why Lulu wouldn't want him to, but curious why he would. Unless she was around when he grew up and things got better for Britt. She seemed like quite the villain, but now I guess perhaps she's more accepted in town (I know not by all).

You've just hit on one of the major weak spots of this storyline: the writers don't seem to know what Rocco's motivation is, and the dialogue has provided very little explanation. As a viewer, I've tried to supply my own explanations: for instance, Rocco's mother Lulu was absent for years because she was in a coma, and then when she came out of the coma, she immediately focused on searching for her other child Charlotte (who was with Valentin) and mostly ignored Rocco. So maybe he's searching for an alternate mother who he thinks "wanted" him, as opposed to Lulu, who made him feel unwanted.

But again, none of that is explicitly in the scripts. I think the writers came up with this storyline because they knew it would generate conflict scenes between Lulu and Dante vs. Britt and Obrecht, and they didn't bother fully thinking through the motivations of the teenage boy in the middle.

Love to hear that, I am too!  :)  We need to get Eden to come back to a soap opera sometime.

Thanks again!

Ahh gotcha, that's a shame. Hopefully that corrects itself and we get more insight.

Last question, I promise haha...  what about Maxie? I know she's away right now, but did she and Lulu make up after all that?  I wonder if she could have been a second mom to him.

Lulu and Maxie were on good terms, yes.

Hmmm... are they gonna go there with Lulu and Nathan?

Tying Sidwell and Dalton to everything happening with Faison's final project is stupid, but I am looking forward to seeing Emma/Gio/Rocco/Danny, and surprisingly even Charlotte a little, try to take down Dalton.

Because the show loves Obrecht and her family and is trying to put Britt over with Jason again, and is trying to retroactively force a relationship with the baby she stole (and not because she wanted a child either; it was her parents' supervillain scheme; she hasn't cared about Rocco in years) to make her seem more important. Rocco and Britt never knew each other before, and she never cared.

If you have to guess at the characters' motivations, then the writers have failed.  (That isn't a knock on you, @prefab1.  I'm just agreeing with what you posted earlier).

Drew can’t even hold in being a prick for more than 30 minutes. He lured Ronnie in and then instantly in a flash showed her why everyone in the family hates him.  They’ve gotta give this guy maybe just an ounce of self reflection at some point or they really should just have someone shoot him again.

Rocco not giving a [!@#$%^&*] about his actual feelings and wanting to be close to a psychopathic family that literally stole him, is just absurd and poor writing.
