I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually starting to warm up to Dani and Andre as a couple quite a bit, especially since everybody in town is pretty much against them. They actually have a lot of chemistry and heat. I really wish they were endgame; I don't want Andre to get saddled with boring Ashley. She can have Derek for all I care.

That's the one thing that is currently bugging me about them. Dani and Andre are slowly showing what they are made of and have the potential to be endgame. It's just it's clear the writers want Bill and Dani as endgame. So I can't help, but feel it in the back of my mind. I wish they would just go with the fact that Dani has chemistry with BOTH men and let it go where it's going. But I know they are going to do something that will put in Andre in a bad light. Though I am trying to ignore that...or perhaps surprise me by not going there to make Bill look better.

The problem with that is...the writers want them as end game, too.

June having actually seen the hit and run would be wild, and a good twist.

I can't believe I am getting on the June train after wanting to kill her with my mind for months due to her 'Tubi Original adaptation of Raisin in the Sun' performances early on, but she is working for me a lot more now. I guess the old Agnes Nixon staples (rich man with kooky poor woman from the streets) still hold true!

Leslie has probably met her match with June. Both are from less than charmed background and June probably can be a fighter if she needs to be.

Naomi really wants someone to validate her feelings before she makes a decision. The whole "I ruined your life" logic was ridiculous because Dani doesn't remotely act like her children ruined her life.

Struggle hard as they can, but the writers just cannot sell Andre and Ashley as a couple. If anything I think their best laid plans have failed and that Dani and Andre have developed much better.

Leslie called Ted her man and Tomas Eva's man, which is totally delusional. Tomas is such a loser that she shouldn't even want him for Eva, but of course she wants to fight the Duprees at every turn.

Vanessa is so pathetic. She's ready to go all in for Joey and doesn't even realize he tried to pull her son into his criminal activity. It would be really over the top, but it's starting to look like this story might turn out to be Joey trying to steal Doug's entire life, children included.
