They gave Leslie layers again today, which is nice to see.

I wonder if this will be the last we see of Allison. If so, I do think she deserves kudos for playing crazy pretty well.

I agree. Every soap character has to have wins and losses and today was Leslie's.

Im kinda hoping they keep Allison around. She could one of those crazies that pop in out causing trouble. Plus the actress has made me a fan on and off the show

I loved Eva the first few months because she wouldn't put up with Leslie's bull, at all. Eva schemed to stop Leslie.

But the last Thursday of June, just before the week-long reruns, the writing for Eva changed with the scene of Eva and Leslie at Orphey Gene's reminiscing about the past, and Eva began to be loving towards Leslie.
It felt (to me) like a big change for the writing for the character of Eva.  I've been meaning to mention how much that has bothered me.

I do *NOT* want to see Eva defending Leslie *at all*.

I watched today just to see Chelsea free herself, as I thought she would!

But WTF with the writing for Leslie today? She cried, she felt used, Eva actually had dialogue saying Leslie was "vulnerable".  Yeah NO NO NO.
Leslie is a sociopath and no change in the writing will change that for me.  The writers inputting dialogue to make us *see* Leslie's "vulnerable side" ? ? ? ? No no no no no.  No way. Not for me!

I was team Ted on this.

Oh and Eva truly is trash for condoning Leslie's behavior and validating her hate for Anita and the Duprees by placing blame on them for the wrong things that have happened to her. Is she now gonna be a full fledged villian now too bc before she was kinda playing defense when it came to Leslie but with that speech its like she'll be on the offense alongside her

I guess she is because otherwise there is no explanation for why the writing for her has suddenly turned on a dime and she just comes out stupid and deluded. I'm really disappointed because I was starting to like her too.

Its her mom so I get the blind loyalty.  I feel like she's gonna have to see Leslie in the worst possible light for her eyes to become truly open and thats what I believe they're setting up.

I hope you're right. I mean, I kind of get it to some degree, but it's getting old.

First time back in a week and...technical difficulties. Since that happened a LOT the week before BTG went on break...bad move, local CBS.

Back to my GH binging I go until it is properly loaded on my system or the app then.

I'm so happy to have BTG back! Since I dont currently watch the other soaps it was a long week without them. I agree with whoever said OG Ted was back with the backbone, seeing him stand up to Leslie today and then Nicole inviting him to go to the hospital together made me smile. Especially since I was pissed with Ted last week for offering up the house, well played.

I'm still couple of episodes behind... I will have try harder this weekend to catch-up, so I can start reading this topic freely and maybe even watching live when I have the chance. I miss that initial first month excitement where I was watching everything live.

Ted reminded me of OG Ted with how cruel he is being to Leslie right now and I love to see it

It was the first time he gave me OG Ted and it was much needed.

I was thinking the same thing. She was gone for like a day. I think this could have gone on longer

I actually hate drawn out kidnapping storylines because I’m constantly thinking about the character never going to the bathroom so I’m happy it’s done.

The highlight for me was the look on Ted's face when Miss Nicole said, "Well, come on then.  Let's go."  He was like, "Who is this woman?"  😂

Leslie might not be a sophisticated businesswoman but surely she didn't think someone in the middle of a high net worth divorce could just give a house away? And even if that meant the deal for the house across the street from Anita and Vernon fell through, won't she just try again? The ensuing scenes with Leslie and Eva were good but this was such a sloppy plot device.

Chelsea being held in one static room, and the offscreen car crash, was giving a little Y&R. At least they all showed up at the hospital.

Not her dragging her by the leg!!!  And cheering that I'm yelling at her on my app (ugh) to use the chain, use the chain...AND SHE DID!!! So many people must have gotten their life today because all last week or so, people were wondering why Chels didn't take that chain to that psycho.

I know, finally!

I did like that afterwards at the hospital, Chelsea was saying how she was almost driven to kill Allison, and that Allison almost turned her into a murderer, which isn't who Chelsea wants to be.  I mean, it would have been survival-justified, but I get what Chelsea is saying.  There's going to be some emotional ramifications, I think as Chelsea works through this.
