DLF is solid eye candy.

I really hope the writers are not going to do what I think they might be doing when it comes to Vernon and Anita. They better not make Vernon Leslie's dad. 

I wonder if Jacob is going to start wanting kids and Naomi doesn't and that is going to be the major source of their conflict. 

Is Doug going to die? Because it sounds like it. Although I'm not sure why Ashley and Vanessa are mentioned in the same sentence? Maybe Joey is going to turn out to be her dad after all.

I’m kinda here for it for the messy drama (even if it’s a fake out—would love to see Dani’s reaction since she thinks he hung the moon). But the writing for Black men on this show leaves a lot to be desired, and it would feel like a retread after Ted.

I would hope they finally kill Drunk Doug, whose crashout performances are increasingly giving Tyler Perry touring company (he's not the only one, paging June). I wouldn't kill Joey yet as I do think JL and LB have heat, but that story has become repetitious despite their strong work and I feel like it's all just a precursor to Vanessa inevitably taking over his business. She's the central axis there for me.

I also suspect they may go there with Ashley and Joey which is a solid story point, but for the love of God you'd need a much better actress to make me care about her reaction and even so, I've never wished for some Guza-style toxic balls to take out a medical professional more.

Speaking of bad: It is insane Alex Alegria is still employed.

One option would be to take Leslie's apartment and re-purpose that for Jacob and Naomi. I also don't understand why they didn't design Ashley's apartment where it could be easily re-dressed. They could've put them in the same building and used the same set for both couples.

That's possible!   I'm also wondering, what if they have a stronger reconciliation later with more of a love scene?
