Beyond cringe. Katie is the LAST person Will would share this stuff with.

There are just some things that a man should not discuss with his mother 😂😂

I tried watching a couple episodes... not too good. This show needs a couple veteran actors to return. My choice would be Lesli Kay and Drew Tyler Bell.

why? so Brad can ruin their characters too?

LSV is hot, but the hottest guy on the show? Nope

LSV is certainly in the top tier at B&B when it comes to hotness. I'd also put Tanner Novlan there, and maybe Matthew Atkinson. Scott Clifton would have been there a couple years ago when he was jacked, but then he lost what I consider too much weight.

All I can give it is that it was a well-done week. It was well produced. It had direction. And I felt suspense. It was soapy. And I loved the little cameo from the guy who does the tik-tok (?).

But it doesn't take away from the fact that Luna raped Will to me. And I don't get it. They worked so hard to make her character work. Not that she's needed at all. THERE was the girl who I actually wanted in a triangle with Will and Electra: ALLY!!! The intern who was giving vixen vibes when Will first appeared at Forrester was back this week and she was STILL giving that vibe at the party.

They could have done so much more with Luna after all the hoops they already jumped through. A rivalry between her grandma's love. Explored her issues with her mother. Her attempts to get to know her father. Just trying to rebuild her life. Instead, they did...THAT.

I even liked the Friday cliffhanger. It was just so soapy. But for what happened...gross.

MA is hot, and LSV is very hot,but not the hottest lol. SC has never been hot to me, cute yes, especially his GH days lol

Somehow I can't make myself to watch this show anymore. I really don't have the time or the energy for it. Last thing I saw was the Luna-Will stuff and I'm done for now. I'm seeing lots of people online in a similar situation, fans who are willingly sharing they don't want to watch anymore and I don't blame them. And yeah, it's not like it was Shakespearian or Dostoevsky before... but these past few weeks the show has turned into a dark, ugly mess. Unwatchable mess. I find you guys' comments the only thing I can bear connected to the show.

I'll probably tune back in to see the new sets.

P.S We have a brand new, fresh out of the oven Hunter Tylo interview-podcast... this time on a different channel. Not the religious one. At this point... I personally can't bear to listen to it, but I'm just sharing it here for anyone who has the free time. I will update myself with it in the coming days.

Maxim, I absolutely agree with everything you said in the above paragraph. I've stayed with every other soap I've watched until it was canceled, or in the case of the other four soaps currently on CBS, ABC, or Peacock, I'm still watching. With B&B, I feel like each time the writers come up with a bad plotline, they try to outdo themselves by coming up with a worse one. Well, they've outdone themselves out of my viewership. 😒

That hasn't happened to Y&R yet (though it should), but I agree with you that more than a few viewers have left for the same reason.

There's so much repetition it's unreal. Hope AGAIN supposedly in love one day and completely rethinking that the next because Liam walks in? Carter AGAIN as a clueless moron when it comes to love? Liam AGAIN deciding he loves Hope? Luna AGAin (and the show AGAIN) turning to rape as a plot device?

It's all a disaster, and I hope the ratings continue to fall.

I sacrificed part of my sanity to watch the newest Hunter Tylo podcast... so I can update you guys.

I'll try to be brief. I one sentence - It was the same stuff she said in the last few ones, at this point it's talking in circles and repeating what she already said in the previous podcasts.

🐍

In more words. - She seems to have a distorted view of what soap operas are supposed to be...  What I get from her long monologues is that she wants these shows to be good examples for behavior, morality and spirituality, to have the characters do good things (I am interested how anyone would define this), she is very sensitive to anything that may be too antagonistic or perceived as immoral and etc. She believes that these shows affect people on this very profound level and can influence their every-day life. So she thinks we have to be more responsible and not show bad examples. Well... okay, I assume there is an audience for a show full of good hearts and souls that do nothing wrong... but I don't know if it's enough to sustain a soap opera. Maybe... I could see her vibe fitting in... is children's stories show or some kind of spiritual themed stuff. I don't know. But dramatic soap operas, especially in 2025... will completely die... if someone cleans all the mess and the immoral stuff. Who wants to watch "Let us teach you how to be a good Samaritan"-type of stories? Who the hell needs this? Again... I'm not saying that there are not people who like these types of stuff, but life is FULL of immoral situations, full of scandals and problems and people cheating, lying, being drunk, killing each-other and etc. You can't escape this, you can't just hide from it. I also believe that these shows are entertainment and we can't expect them to be life lessons or examples...

On the other hand... I agree with her... that the boring love triangles are too much and too stupid, but I also don't want to be preached by these Holier than thou characters... and I think that's what we would have gotten if it was up to her. That brings me to another point that I'm getting is that... she has said many times now that she had problems with this in the script or that... and she called Bradley for this monologue or for that scene and the examples are just too much. I'm sorry, I was an actor too... and if anyone from my colleagues started trying to control the writing or had problems with it all the time... it will just be impossible to work.  Don't get me wrong - I don't think that anyone would be OK with Brad's writing and she probably was RIGHT and I would agree with her... but if you just ignore the fact that it's Bradley Bell... then you get an impossible situation. Nobody wants to work with people like this, that's the cold harsh reality of the business. No producer, head writer wants a soap actress constantly unhappy with her material and wanting to change it. They would just fire them. It's sad, yes... and probably she could have even elevated the quality of the writing if they allowed it... but in the end of the day... she is not the writer. That's it. Bold doesn't need Hunter Tylo correcting the writing or... anyone else. BOLD NEEDS A NEW WRITER. PERIOD. Not an actress. A WRITER.

Some other interesting bits was her telling stories about crazy fans and people who can't tell the difference between her and the character of Taylor. One time a lady approached her and told her something like - You need to go, hurry up, because Brooke is at Ridge's door at this moment and she's trying to seduce him. LOL. Or something like that. I enjoy hearing stories like these, because it reminds me how crazy the fan community can be at times and what kind of delusional people are watching the shows sometimes. Thank God they are a minority... but I've met people like this and it's a whole another level of crazy. Sadly they frequent forums too.

P.S I'm starting to wonder what Hunter wants at this point. These podcasts are very repetitive. I wonder what this will lead to. Will she be starting her own channel-podcast soon... or something... We'll see.

Thank you for your sacrifice.   :P

It seems like Hunter wants these shows to be more like 7th Heaven or soap opera versions of Full House. I do agree with her to some extent though. I think that there could be a happy medium between that and what we're getting now.

I suppose one thing that might benefit both shows, would be to kill off Katie and drop Heather Tom back into Y&R and have her play Victoria again. It would add some realism, since Katie's heart transplant was 17 years ago, and the median age for survival for heart transplant recipients under 60 is 16 years. It's actually quite rare for a heart transplant patient to make it to 30 years.

After listening to these podcasts, I have no interest in a podcast hosted by Hunter Tylo. We now have real evidence as to why she was fired. I cannot imagine trying to work with someone like her on set.

She wanted to essentially run the show, and no show is going to put up with that. Does she make some good points? Yeah, but she also wanted to turn B&B into some kind of morality play that no one wants to see.

I blamed Brad Bell for so many years for firing Tylo and not bringing her back. Those days are over.

Sadly, I've come to the same conclusion. I never saw this particular side of her, even though... frankly... through the years... she has given a bizarre interview or two. The signs were there, I probably just didn't want to believe it.

Does she really think the entire show should be like that? Or that PORTIONS of the show and characters should be like that? Taylor used to be more or less THAT character, the one that was the paragon of morality and virtue. Perhaps she wants a greater balance of those type of characters. If you think back to the original cast of Y&R.... immoral or treacherous characters weren't the majority. Stuart  Brooks and Liz Foster were pillars of morality. Even the immoral ones weren't THAT evil... like Lorie or Jennifer... really, back then Katherine was as wicked as they got, you never had a contract player that was truly a villain. Who does B&B have to fill that virtuous role now? Hope?
