I agree; however, I do get the impression it was a "private lesson" set up by Tomas for Katherine. But again, that's my impression of it.

Was just coming here to comment on some scenes from the June 19th episode -- Previously, some of June's belongings were removed from the scene when the unhoused people were forced to leave their location.  In the June 19th episode, Jacob had searched and found a box of June's stuff and brought it to her.  She went through the box to find the picture of the children. The camera kept showing her hands as she went through the box and held up the picture.

When that June 19 episode aired, posters here at SON commented on June's manicure looking so nice despite her situation.   All sorts of theories were speculated.   Was she really homeless, or someone in disguise, or an undercover cop or ? ? ?    Someone wondered if the show had messed up and missed that detail.  Another wondered how the show could have missed that detail since the camera focused on her hands so much.

So... in the August 14 dialogue, Naomi gave June a manicure and the dialogue was specific that she hadn't had one before.

@janea4old yeah they goofed and hoped we wouldnt catch it but I recall people pointing this out

I can allow that since some women keep clothes in their closets that don't currently fit them, just in case they ever lose weight or gain weight.

Weight wise but they arent the same height. There's no way they'd be fitting the same jeans even if she gained weight bc the length would be off by several inches

I've made my peace that Beyond the Gates isn't for me. No need to beat a dead horse every day but what is with this show and not being able to hire age-appropriate actors/characters? 

I wish there were a Debbie Allen type of figure to turn this show around. The potential is there but the execution of BTG has fallen apart.

While I do enjoy the show, I think their choice of the day-to-day EP is poor. Julie Carruthers was never a great EP in my opinion. I've seen all the shows she produced and she never did anything spectacular with them. People will throw tomatoes at me but someone like Jill Farren Phelps would've prevented a lot of the mishaps we've seen and the show would definitely look more spectacular. There isn't much talent left but I do hope they can one day find a stronger producer.

Also, when it comes to the Peaches casting...I thought the actress sold it well but I do wonder why they couldn't find someone more age appropriate. They hired two Articulettes, do you mean to tell me nobody else auditioned for those roles who could've been pulled in to play Peaches? Not to mention other actresses who may have auditioned for Anita.

Not pointing anyone out in particular, thinking I log to in see the chatter about what's happening to the characters, but this turning out to the complant department. 😳

This firefighter that Ashley is talking to is 🔥  So hot, they need to keep him around.  He should have been cast as Derek instead LOL. He's already a better actor too.

I have prepared myself to be horrified by today's possible ending. That's all for now.
