Cody and Molly are insanely forced and artificial. The Molly recast has always been mid at best but it literally feels like Slot Introvert Character A into Tab Available Rogue B. It's just a time-filler with two characters who can't sustain a real storyline, and I say that as someone who likes Cody a lot. He needs someone like Tracy or Ava to shine, and Molly needs to leave for at least a few years so we can miss the character beyond years of just being there.

Kristina - I got nothing. The character is burnt beyond recognition and needs to either crash out and go full dark for awhile or get gone. Kate Mansi is very talented and could do great on the show but has been put in a terrible position with story after story. It's another instance where they seem to expect us to implicitly rubberstamp her repeat behavior (a la Sonny) because she's a major get from another soap.

Britt raised him for under a year, right? Yet now he's talking about her and Obrecht knowing his favorite food was avocado and his favorite color was green. He thinks they must know even more about him.

Are you kidding me with this stuff? If Rocco were with Britt for 3 or 4 years, I would understand this. But months? No.

I am just so over taking all the quirks out of Molly.  Sure, people grow up and Haley was obnoxious af as a tween, but for Molly to be embarrassed about having two romance novels published when she was young just so she can catch Cody's eye is so demeaning for a character I don't even care much about.  What exactly has Cody done in his life?

Stole an embryo without either donor's consent and tried to pass the baby off as another mans for her own gain-not because she desperately wanted a child.  This is not even a debate for the show, but again it is.  Britt is not a mother, she's a kidnapper, she's not a good person, a person who should be around Rocco, or even have a medical license.  The odd antiquated GH concept that Britt was something more than an incubator is so wild.

You know what? Tween Molly TOTALLY would have done that. lol.

 

I forgot to mention earlier how much I don't like Cody/Molly. I was open to it when TJ was around. But now that he's not...well the actor, not the character apparently...I have no use for that pairing. The only potential it has is the fact that Kristina is using Cody to get to Ava who is currently with Ric. That could be interesting.

I think the entire erasure of TJ gets me the most.  I am not even a huge fan of TJ, but it was Molly's partner for like a decade and he just disappears so Molly can be paired with a white hunk the show has no idea what to do with?  If there was a triangle or at least some wariness on Molly's part to enter a new relationship after all those years it would be better.  Being embarrassed about a book and jealous of Ava/Cody isn't intriguing.

The lack of closure with TJ/Molly bothers me when TJ just works on the other side of the hospital apparently.  When it was done it was so done.

Very much all of this. But you know I was fan of TJ.  And yes, the optics of it was not good when I stopped watching and continues to look bad now that I am again. Cuz the side-eye I gave when he was mentioned one episode as being in the hospital somewhere was ugh. How did Frank get P.O. that we are not even getting a line of dialogue saying he left? The shhhhade.

 

It would work better if it was a triangle and the wariness you mentioned. But instead we are...for now...stuck with meet-cute moments as if Molly isn't legally attached to someone else.

I was neutral on TJ at best. He never got a clear point of view and very little time was spent on he and Molly's relationship even though they were together for years.

Once Tajh Bellow got a chance to act and give a perspective about Kristina and the baby he was just dumped.  And the show should have stated TJ left to start a new life instead of apparently working in the unfilmed part of GH.  

He and Molly should still be trying to work things out even if they eventually parted, but Molly just moved on with all of that and is trying to get into Cody's pants.  Which, I get, but it gives her even less depth than before because I always believed she cared very deeply about TJ, their relationship, and their potential family.

Yikes!  That's a really hard scene/episode to get through to this day because of all the things and Sonny practically hitting her.

Because I remember Sonny manhandling her and her begging at the door and a year or so later Sonny telling Brenda he was going to hit her.  And her response was...but you didn't.  It doesn't age well lol.  Let's focus on sexy Alley kiss scenes instead.

Even when I was a teenager I wasn’t dumb enough to think some woman stealing me from my parents, was someone I needed to know more about and wax poetic about. This writing is stupid and they’re trying to make Lulu the bad guy for being rightfully pissed. Brit STOLE HER EMBRYO AS HER DOCTOR. I’m at the point where I need Sidwell to take out Rocco.

The complete erasure of TJ pisses me off regularly. He’s the defining relationship of Molly’s whole life. Got royally screwed by Kristina and he’s just sent into the void after being able to grieve for maybe 2 episodes? It’s like everytime I want to be really into this show, there’s stupid ass audience insulting [!@#$%^&*] like this.
