Before the engagement party, (old) Ted and Nicole offered to put Eva through school when Laura came back. Once she was done Ted mentioned she might have a spot at his practice, I think. Something like that. 

Tomas has definitely improved his acting since the show's inception. 

Agreed with all the comments about Carleton being a regular. He was great on NuDynasty. He'd be a great mix with Nicole. Martin's assistant, Zak, was great, too!. At first I thought he might be there to make Smitty jealous. Still could be. hint hint. 

Hayley is ridiculous at times. lol.

with so many characters and storylines, they skip over a lot of emotional beats we should be seeing.

I agree the show skips over a few scenes that should have been done, but I'll take this pacing over Y&R and B&B any day with their three episode long conversations. 

 

Darn it! Couldn't Iran have waited another 30 minutes!!???

• So Chelsea and Katherine are moving their business into Dani's studio space? Well, this is good and an interesting twist of turned events. And loving Chelsea's "DUMP HIM" shirt. Very Britney/Christina in the early 2000s.
• Look at how proud Vernon is of Anita's rehearsals with the Articulettes. But Kenny needs to stop being so damn obvious in his watch of Deadbeat; he's continuing to give himself away.
• Ah yes, physical therapy for the arrogant patient: Bill Hamilton! I remember those well.
• Oh God, is Derek planning to do the big one? Please, no!
• Dani is fully in modeling agent mode, and I kind of love it. It gives her life some purpose, post-divorce.
• A projector? I have not seen one of those since elementary school. Surprised the child bride knows how to use one. I'm sure it was difficult for her.
• Uhm, I do not know where the beginning of the proposal was, but the final part was not good. I would not say yes.
• Oh, sexy talk between Chelsea and Madison? That's kind of hot. And uh-oh, here comes Andre! Things are about to get interesting.
• "You two weren't getting busy, were you?" Oh, Dani. Never change. Please do not.
• Vernon, come back! Kenny is about to do some considerable damage to Deadbeat!
• Well, Chelsea and Katherine figured out about Andre in 2.5 seconds.
• Well, Kenny leaned in nice and close to Deadbeat, didn't he?!?!

Notes:

• Love that we're cycling through relations within the Dupree family; I enjoy seeing Dani in aunt mode with Katherine. Hoping this trend translates into Nicole with her nieces at some point.
• CBS News interrupted the episode for ten minutes to address the news concerning Iran launching retaliatory missiles on Israel.

Ugh - will have to watch the rest tonight on Paramount. This Iran/Israel stuff isn't good 😕 

I'm so freaking tired of this. Go freaking interrupt something else. This is literally why we have news channels. We watch our shows for escapism 

Can Derek and Ashley just break up and leave the show.

I thought Dani was goinig to contemplate and say no but we didnt see that. With them now living in her guest house, she cant really have booty calls with Andre anymore. I bet thats how they are exposed and it will be real sloppy of Dani

i recently watched a few episodes of b&b, and am in full agreement about the endless conversations. btg has so many storylines going on at once, that this choppy pacing is inevitable— but still frustrating.

re the news-break: be glad it was john dickinson; dan rather would have gobbled up the rest of the show.  as annoying as these break-ins are, no quarrels about what looks to be a full-blown war in the middle east. 

and be glad that we have alternatives. back in the day, the episode would have been lost.
