Thanks for starting this thread!  I was hoping others were listening and would want to chat about it.

I'm really enjoying Montecito!  The production and audio values are top notch. The storylines are interesting and keep me wanting more.  There is corporation succession, cheating, alcoholism, bisexual relationships, divorced parents, brother/sister drama, scorned mother, father/son relationship issues, etc.

At first I couldn't stand Mena's (sp?) voice, but I've grown to enjoy her and I love to hate her as a villain.

I keep hearing Smitty (BTG) in Mike Manning's voice, so it keeps throwing me haha.

The only thing going against it is one episode per week, at only 18 minutes long, so we need more content.

Anyone else listening and enjoying it?

I heard the first episode. I will be back after I've listened to more.

I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian

Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain. 

I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.

That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.

Too bad I don't have a dog lol.

I love hearing Vincent's voice again.

Also, a Mina fan too.

This week's episode was really strong. Very emotional with the three men (grandfather/father/son). I also like seeing JJ leave for rehab on his own accord. And we have a new villain to look out for - Marco!

It'll also be nice knowing what happened to Mina's father, why he's in the hospital, and once he wakes, how he'll fit in.

I’m about to finish up my holiday and binge-listened all 10 episodes.

I enjoyed it much more than I anticipated, even though I listen a lot to audio drama and podcasts.

So happy to hear it!  This is my first audio soap and I've been so surprised and pleased by it. I can't wait to listen to day's episode.  It's also great hearing Rick Hearst's narrator voice every episode  

I listened to a few audio dramas, and I can't say it has always been a great experience. This one is off to an awesome start...

Diego sounds a little whiny to me.

I enjoyed the conversation between JJ and BG(Bethany Gina) in episode 8.

Diego was whiny this week, agreed.  BUT, this episode was so good, especially the ending! The Mina vs. Helena stuff was so good and then the surprise reveal/cliffhanger at the end.  Wow!  This is good soap.

I'm nervous though because they didn't have a 'Next time on Montecito...' at the end, and my podcast app is calling this Season 1 now. I guess we have to wait for Season 2 to start? I just hope that isn't too long, I can barely handle waiting a week for each new episode haha.
