The Italy remote airdates imply Liam will still be alive in July.

No way would Brooke/Ridge jet off to Italy if their respective granddaughters lost their father. Would Bridge really leave Hope/Steffy during this time? That seems a step too far for B&B.

Normally, there is "a look ahead" preview video for the "next week",
which is attached to the end of each Friday episode.

There was no "look ahead" next week preview at the end of B&B's Friday May 16 episode.
Instead, the end of Friday May 16 episode had full credits -- including all actors, crew, and staff.

I don't know if things are still off due to all the episodes being shifted one airdate after the May 8 preemption.  Or if this is unrelated to that.

Perhaps that "look ahead" preview will be attached to the end of the episode will be broadcast on Monday May 19?  Or maybe they'll just completely omit the preview for week of May 19?

I hadn't been posting spoiler pics recently, because it's been the same "Forrester-Logan day" (in-universe same day for the characters) for a few weeks of episodes, so everyone was in the same wardrobe and most of the pics looked similar, LOL.

SOD has a pic of Carter on their "record-this" page for week of May 19,
but it's old.

The original image URL on the SOD website says "JPI_Episode9524"

Episode #9542 aired on Wed. May 14th.
However, he's likely wearing same wardrobe Monday May 19th, so whatever, LOL.

^ Thanks for the "Look Ahead" preview for this week --
Normally this would have been for
Monday May 19 through Friday May 25.

However, they finally put the "Look Ahead" preview up on the B&B youtube account and it's labeled as ...
"Look Ahead to May 20 - May 26, 2025"
So that's Tuesday through the following Monday.

The "Look ahead" next week preview video for week of May 26-30 --
was not attached to end of Friday May 23.
The show is still off from the May 8th preemption.  The preview will likely appear at end of Monday May 26 episode.

The closing credits for Friday May 23 had the cast- so that would normally show the noncontract cast for week of May 19-23.
However it included Tom Arnold as Capt. Deuce Stevens, and he didn't appear.

Since everything is still off by one airdate, Tom Arnold will appear Monday May 26.

Per the embargo rules, we can't post the dailies here until Sunday May 25.

    • It cannot be emphasized enough that Angela Lansbury carried CBS primetime on her back through some pretty awful years from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s. Les Moonves will forever be on my s--- list for the sabotage of Murder, She Wrote. 100% this.
    • Is it true that, after the transition from CBS to ABC in 1975, Edge of Night had a very short-lived very unliked "new" opening theme?  I understand it was rather quickly replaced by the Cortner and Barranco melody that lasted until the show was cancelled.  Is this true?  And if so, does anyone have audio or video of the short-lived and reviled "new" opening theme song?
    • Greg Sumner intro in season 5 as the new villain was the finishing touch on Knots Landing going full-on 1980s primetime soap. William Devane had a commanding presence from his first episode, but I don't think he took over the show.
    • Interesting.  Does CHCH have this as an arrangement?  Or is CBS unaware that that CHCH didn't preempt for Memorial Day, and is still ahead?
    • Olivia did have a good reason for what she did. Still, I'd think she would be slower to pass such harsh judgment on Lois since she knows what she herself lived through. I'm hoping we get a softer Olivia when she reflects on everything.   I'm going to disagree with this. I don't think the character has been ruined and trashed, and I don't think it's impossible to come back from this. Yes, a great case can be made that this is out-of-character for Lois, but I can also make a case for people doing out-of-character things when life deals us crazy and impossible moments. Because of the story we're getting from this, I think it was worth putting Lois into this situation.

    • Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum but I have been a soap opera fan for only a few years. I started watching General Hospital in the 2010s on tv due to boredom. It wasn't good but it was okay enough to get curious about the soap opera genre. When I eventually got internet I started researching 90s and 2000s General Hospital. I have started only recently researching 80s and 90s Days of Our Lives. I was shocked when I found out that a black soap opera is going to be made, especially because the genre as a whole was on a downward trajectory. Now here I am as a black woman seeing a soap opera from the start. I'm all for Beyond the Gates succeeding.
