This is great news to me.  Especially since I too, tend to be a sloppy typer.  Glad to know I can make corrections whenever I notice the need to do so.

But Errol, can you give a general explanation of how "editing" has been abused in the past?  I'm not asking for specific examples, but just curious.  What went so wrong with editing, that the administrators needed to limit it?  

Happy to know that limit has been removed.  

 

There is a post on page 402 of Soap Hoppers. It features actor Christopher Durang and others.

When I attempted to add Javi Hernandez to Al Calderon's profile, it refused to close the edit, It said that the post uses terms that are not allowed. Why won't it allow the edit and/ or post. It's just lists of soaps, tv shows, movies and theater roles.

I can re-post Al's separately, but I don't get why. There's no swearing.

What specific word were you using? There might be a hook that blocks words that might be slightly similar. If it doesn't post (for obvious reasons), you can email me.

I just added Hernandez. (Sorry I didn't respond sooner, been offline more than on after an eye procedure that worked well).  I'm just going to post him separately and hope it was just a glitch in that post.

Tried to add John Aprea's dates for his 3 Another World roles on page 416 Soap Hoppers Thread. It won't let me close the file.

 

The post was up for months.

Again, this time on page 380 No words are highlighted. Just added the dates for Emily O'Brien. Wouldn't close.

@Errol I had this difficulty during the time when the cloudfare security was tight -- referring to this issue (link) -- I couldn't edit some of my own posts that contained tweets, multiple images, or interesting formatting.  I could compose the edit, but not submit it.

After you fixed that cloudfare issue, I could edit the posts.   Maybe the cause is different but the symptoms are similar.

Soap Hoppers page 402. Tried to add Gloria Loing's dates of appearances. This is also the post that contains Al Calderon.
