Im with Anita. It was F'd up of Naomi and Dani to ambush her like this. Her objections made sense bc this would likely be streamed and she' get dragged in the blogs if she isnt up to par. We know how this goes

Im pretty sure they knew taht about Dani. I mean she's positioned as one of the leads

  • IN THE CLURB, WE ALL FAM!
  • Ugh. Did Deadbeat have to tag along to the karaoke night at Uptown?! He couldn't stay home?!
  • I appreciate Nicole being the voice of reason for Vanessa (re: her marriage), but I wonder how that will hold up when she's faced with Ted's infidelities.
  • Joey really wants Doug for more than gambling, and I'm wondering what the heck it's going to be??
  • Did we just get a happy ending joke?! On American daytime television?! A bold, risky, risqué move I am loving right now.
  • Julia and Jonathan are too much for me to handle, but how can they and Eva leave that much food on their plates?! I would NEVER. #CleanPlateCommittee right here.
  • I appreciate Vernon including Chelsea in on what's going on with Tyrell in the hopes it will help him with what's going on.
  • Swiftie? Swiftie?! Oh. Please. Do not let that leech be involved with this soap. I'd rather not.
  • Oh, we've got some trauma that has come with age, don't we, re: Anita. I think it's natural.
  • Oh, Anita is going to snap on every single person at that table.
  • Doug, your desk? You were at the Nurse's Station with Ashley and Shanice.
  • Come on, Anita, you've got this!
  • Some potential backstory on Alan, huh? You can tell it hurts Eva. A lot.
  • Dana ("Leslie"), Jan, and Mona are friendship goals, even if Dana is misleading both Jan and Mona.
  • Tamara Tunie still got it! Her voice is stunning, smooth and on point!!!

    • I do agree that I wish there was more gay representation in terms of singles. I also had hoped we'd get a Black couple since it was a Black soap and I don't know that we've ever seen that on a US soap.  With that said, it's still early days so I can imagine we'll get that at some point. I am impressed they launched with as much LGBT representation considering how US soaps can be.
    • Thank you. I know we're all supposed to see that BTG is progressive when it comes to queer characters, but it's telling that they won't commit to showcasing gay or bi males who are single and looking. That relationship couldn't be any more traditional. Will we ever get a bedroom scene with Smitty and Martin? I have my doubts.
    • This is a pretty huge thing IMO, but I guess we will see what happens? Can't get any worse then already.
    • This can be difficult for a soap to depict. So far she's only shown an interest in women. Will a man come into her life? If she commits to a male, there will be  backlash, but if it's women only, them where is the bi/queer aspect? Personally, I would have liked a single gay male on the show dealing with hook ups/relationships etc. Smitty/Martin married with kids is limiting in those terms.
