Members Soaplovers Posted April 8 Members Share Posted April 8 I loved the twist that the men were trying to playfully warn Tomas about Kat.. not the other way around Please register in order to view this content Other then the lack of follow up on the stellar cliffhanger from yesterday, this was a superb episode. It makes me sad that B & B no longer produces fashion shows at this level anymore when that was one of the highlights of that soap in the 80s/90s/00s. Maybe this show will help light a fire under that soap and they can eventually produce a fashion show of quality again. This episode was definitely Chelsea's episode.. and the first episode where it shows how comfortable the actress has gotten playing the character and doing a soap opera. Lots of warm family moments with Martin/Smitty and their daughter... plus some great moments between Samantha/Chelsea/Kat. I'm going to miss the actor playing Ted because he can effortlessly play the charming handsome father and husband, but also play the rougher elements as we saw yesterday. A delayed thought from yesterdays episode and having seen the Have Not Gossip session at play: I noticed that Jan and Silk Press Sheila have a good rapport and similar viewpoint about the wealthy country club while Mona seems to be the third wheel in that friend group. I AM going to want that song though. lol. And will totally rewatch later. It was so old school though. Taking me back to when I was young and a cousin got with someone. I loved every minute. And then Ted with his 'bye Tomas.' I hollered. And they all looked soooo good. Vernon is wearing that suit. And Ted and Martin in theirs giving strong Father/Son vibes. You know what*fans self* You also know what? You know an episode is strong when you forget about the cliffhanger. Leslie said "that's why you've been missing from choir practice". Mona replied that she'd be there tonight by 7:00. I don't know how they originally met, though. I'm just laughing that Leslie's in the choir. Mona was originally shown working for Nicole. Later that same episode (Feb. 26) Mona was at Nicole's office. Nicole acknowledged that Mona had been working extra hours. Laura offered to stay late and finish up so that Mona could leave now to go to choir practice. (later that same night, Laura left Nicole's and Leslie ran her off the road). On the night of Nicole's award ceremony, they said Mona wouldn't be there because she(Mona) was sick, and Eva took on extra work to prepare. We didn't see Mona again until yesterday (April 7), and there was no mention of Mona ever working for Nicole -- that seemed odd to me. I wondered if I had missed or misunderstood something. I can see her showing Nicole some pictures from choir practice and she noticed Dana is the "Sherri Carter" she's been looking for. For weeks, they have been mentioning Kat with Tomas but no one seeing him with her outside of the scene with Vernon, Anita, and Nicole so it pays off that he gets to meet the whoooole family (and we get a scene with Father Ted and Son Martin finally, too).
