That's where I am. I've offered some criticisms of the show, but I consider it to be normal soap talk. The wrong thing to do would be to say everything -- the dialogue, the acting, the sets, etc. -- is fire.

I really enjoy BTG and am extremely happy it's on the air. I think MVJ is a hero and a miracle worker for getting this to air. She has cemented her role in daytime history. She is legacy and she is iconic. I have no words to fully explain how impressive she is.

That does not mean I won't criticize what's not working.

I agree. Ambitions was a wild ride and a lot of fun. Jamey Giddens gets a ton of criticism here, but he did really good work on Ambitions.

Many of the people here who are wild about BTG mention reasons that were all over the place in Ambitions. My guess is that most people here never watched an episode of Ambitions.

So do I think Jamey is a positive addition to BTG? I do.

March Madness preemption of CBS soaps is always 3rd Thursday/Friday of March.
(only time that changed was in 2020 when Covid changed everything).
So Friday March 21 is end of basketball preemptions for 2025.

 

At this time CBS broadcast TV is
*not* carrying UEFA Champions League soccer "round of 16"
and *not* carrying UEFA Champions League soccer quarterfinals.
(The soccer is on CBSsports/paramount streaming options only)
Thus zero soccer interference with broadcast CBS soaps
in February, March, and early to mid April 2025.

Unknown if CBS broadcast TV
will carry the UEFA Champions League soccer semifinals.
If they do, it's during the end of April, start of May,
which could affect CBS soaps in some timezones (maybe).
To be announced at a later date.
