Keith Robinson was already on-set for the premiere week, so clearly Johnson knew he was gone weeks or months ago.

New viewers will get over it. It's the same old surprise as virtually any soap recast. If they were to recast one of the core four (or Kat!) then I'd get upset.

Hard to believe Maurice Johnson left by choice. He's been actively engaging with fans on social media as of a couple days ago. Would he do that if he knew he was leaving/out?

Yeah I wonder if it was his choice to leave. 

I don’t assume the climax of Eva/Leslie is going to happen before the recast. They should’ve let the original actor play out the rest of the story IMO

Yeah I follow him. If he knew and still promoting the show he's incredibly professional and I wish him the best moving forward. 

Fingers crossed to a shirtless scene before he leaves us
