Reminds me of all the times when I would get so frustrated with GL and the mess it had become.  And that was before Peapack, lol!

I wasn’t even watching when Morgan died but it’s absolutely hilarious how little impact it has on the show. Had they not done ghost Morgan last year, I would’ve forgotten there was another Corinthos kid. But I never cared for Morgan.

I feel like Kristina yaps about Ava killing Morgan sometimes, but I can't remember the last time Carly mentioned him.

Morgan's entrance into the world is memorable to me.  It brought me one of my favorite Sonny/Carly moments.  When Sonny shot Carly in the head by accident while she was giving birth.

I really can't remember anything adult Morgan did besides date Kiki and Ava.

I enjoyed today's episode...nothing too earth shattering happened but I enjoyed the moment at the police station when Mac turned around while discussing the Cyrus case with Anna and saw Sasha kissing Jason for Willow's benefit.

Liz being so dramatic and enigmatic about the bag was a bit silly, it was already obvious Liz was being a bit too naive thinking that the evidence she had in it was enough to bring down Cyrus.

Oh and from a few days ago, I appreciated that Sasha's due date of July 23 is consistent with her and Michael hooking up in the early hours on the morning of Halloween. I reckon somebody must have actually bothered to look up a conception calculator lol, because it is right smack bang in the middle of the conception window.

And from an in-universe point of view, I'm also not pleased that Sonny's piers that Drew wants will mean the esplanade is far away from the city center and established transportation options. Guaranteed white elephant lol.

And I would add one more thing & that is we continue with Carly being kept in the dark about so many things.

No, two things. It has been duly noted that Jason once was with Robin. Last year he exchanged a kiss with Robin's mom. Now he has exchanged a kiss with Robin's sister.

    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
