OMG!!! First, Joss winds up in jail! Now, Jason! I don't know if that was intentional across this week or not, but that is just wild to me the length that Anna is going through to be sure that Cyrus is arrested by the book. But I guess I should look on the bright side. If everyone is focusing on gunning for Cyrus for a murder mystery, it won't turn into a DREW murder mystery. lol.

That said...that was another meh episode that just had good moments sprinkled throughout.

Cuz...HELLO, NASTASHA. When Dante said what he heard, that was who was on that face. And it looks like Nastasha is popping out tomorrow, too. I'm ready for Nastasha to come out. No one...and I mean NO ONE messes with Alexis's family.

I loved all the Liz/Ric/Ava stuff. Though I keep having @Khan in my head when I see Nina and Ric together now because she still very much hates him. Meanwhile, him manipulating Liz in order to help Ava. Clever. And of course, that Ric/Ava kiss. Shame Sonny broke that up.

And now that it's been discussed here. Why yes, I too have noticed that Sonny/Nina scenes are slooooowly on the increase. First it being NINA that broker a deal between Sonny/Carly and Drew/Willow. Now this cute little scene over Michael. It's good that they are playing the beat between Sonny and Nina because they always had a bit of chemistry, it was weird how little they interacted since divorcing, and Natalia is DOA. Just more delicious history to be played with, but like Nina's part in the Nina/Drew/Willow story, that has been such an afterthought. Not to mention the Carly/Nina rivalry. But typing that aloud, oh no...don't tell me we are heading for a Nina/Sonny/Natalia triangle.

Ugh at seeing that P.I. with the dog again. Working for Martin. That said...good that Felicia gave Sasha the heads-up. And that ending...well...oops.

And double UGH!!! to Cody and Molly. Again with the forcery. RME. THAT was ridiculous, unnecessary, and the hamming was ewwww. I can't.

It is. So stupid. But it's gonna go on forever and he'll end up getting some poor fool's heart!

I still don't care about latest Molly, though I think Molly should've been written out years ago.

About Marty, who in the past didn't even seem to like his brother, at all. But I still want to know who/what/where this bug up his as* came from. Is he just still mad that Jason hijacked him & Anna interrogated him? I guess if it's that I can understand.

Who gets locked OUT on a random balcony with only one coat but two people & what an awful spot to take a chem test!

The dog has a name now, Mavis. Oh, so does that PI, Elaine. See, Felicia IS good for some things.

BTW, I require advance notice if a dog is to be harmed. I'm not sure Frank will care about this requirement.

And my last was your first: ANNA, she's always had the potential to be annoying, but now she's really gone & done it & I am over it.

I don't get the entire lack of drama in the plot.  Sonny should have had some sort of major heart attack that necessitated a need for a new heart or he'd die.  It's a very fixable problem that's entirely in his control.  Currently, it's like one of those ads for your heart health or a new medicine you see during the commercial break instead of a story with any weight.

I’m gonna start a gofundme to have Brad beaten to death by circus clowns. I feel like the fate speaks to the character.

I knew they would try to frontburner Sasha yet again. She is a snooze I barely tolerate and this is going to be a very long year.

They built up this Sonny vs Ava custody battle for all this time just to have them randomly settle on 50/50 before even going to court? What a waste. I did like the Ric and Ava/Sonny & Kristina scenes afterward though and if this gets Kristina to go fully unhinged I’m here for it.

Wasn’t expecting a Sidwell and Lucas chemistry test lol but it tracks with his flamboyance. Ugh @ him getting involved with Deception but I’m actually curious to see more of him and Natalia now that its confirmed he’s her ex.

The Alexis and Jason scenes didn’t move me much but I’m glad she acknowledged her hypocrisy in wanting Cyrus dead after the decades of ragging on Jason for his kill penchant.

Molly and Cody and Sasha and the PI continued to bore me and the Lulu and Kristina scene propping Dante and Sam’s relationship felt like a time waster.

-- Molly wore a winter coat. Why was she acting like she was naked in a blizzard? That chem test argument was so bad. And Cody couldn't just yell for help instead of throwing his jeans?

-- Before Cyrus is killed, I want him to kill the PI. That stuff could not be worse, and seeing Isaiah coddling the dog? Jesus. Meanwhile, the PI needs help taking care of her dog, even though she's walking around like someone faking a neck injury.

-- I thought that Lulu and Kristina scene might go somewhere, but it ended -- suddenly -- when Lulu got a phone call. That ended any chance the scene would be impactful. I guess it was running over 20 seconds so Frank cut it.

    • GM is adorable, charming and fun onscreen despite months of nothing to do until recently, and has a bodacious bod. I'm not cosigning the show or this story - I haven't watched a full episode in over a month - but I think we're all taking the small victories in 2025 at this point. I'm open to testing this theory!
    • I think Jason might've posted some numbers for the syndication a while ago and the numbers for Falcon Crest was horrible. Like 1.5 rating or something, which was terrible.    ETA: it was actually Paul Raven:   New to syndication 60 min Fall Guy 67 markets 3.1/8 Falcon Crest 110 markets 1.1/5 To get into the top 40, you needed a 4.6/9 rating for reference - and Falcon Crest managed to get into a lot of markets to begin with. In the fall of 1985 Dynasty, Dallas and Knots were syndicated (show / rating / share / coverage % / markets): Dallas 3.4 10 51.7 92 Dynasty 3.4 10 48.7 47  Knots Landing 3.3 10 12.5 20  So, Knots as an example trippled Falcon Crest's rating with 20 markets - I'm sure those were major ones but it just goes to show you how much Falcon Crest bombed in syndication.
    • It's not bad but the stories move too slow. It's the same problem when Dan O'Connor was CO-HW with Van Etten, they have a million stories and they all drag on endlessly with no resolution. I'd argue the majority of the stories airing now are good but you get sick of waiting months for something to happen.
    • Thanks. I must have missed that period entirely for Lifetime.
    • Thanks. I know Marland did that type of thing sometimes but it's less likely with these characters. I don't even remember Alex ever mentioning him.
    • French fan summary Rusty took over Simon's job at Lewis Trucking after Simon transferred to Lewis Oil's North Carolina office to live near Jessie and Calla. I doubt they would bother following up a story for offscreen characters eg marriage and a baby.
    • I suspected that the performance with the reveal was the reason why the Ted actor got the axe and it looks like I was right. He wasn't really good at conveying what needed to be conveyed in those scenes. Claybon is at least slowly improving (but I agree that he still needs to work on his line delivery), but I do wonder what will happen when his big reveal is coming up.
    • I've already asked this before, recently, but can anyone who watched those years more closely tell me if anything said about Jessie and Simon at the end of their profiles is accurate (about them marrying, naming a baby after Brandon/Lujack, etc.)?
    • Nicole is way too smart to not know she was carrying twins - she's a doctor! My guess is that Leslie did abort her baby out of fear, and as payback, stole Ted and Nicole's child (Eva), and stole Kat from another family to replace her in the hospital.
