At least she gets us all to agree on something.  This is a tacky subject for her to continue to weigh in upon.  It also demonstrates her bizarrely impulsive need to “inform” us with unverified gossip from social media that had already been debunked on this forum 17 hours earlier!

When I double-checked with the publicist last night about this, she immediately got Jamey to issue the correction that he posted less than 20 minutes after I contacted her. Drake did not do any new voiceover work for this storyline. Any Drake stuff you hear is flashback audio.

Some stories stay with you forever. Writing today's breakdown was tough because of what these characters and the show mean to me -  and to you. The cast and crew gave it everything. Honored to be part of it. More to come...

    • I mean, casting handsome, young, white men with floppy hair isn't exactly a new thing for soaps.  All these characters are supposed to be handsome, young, white men so it's not odd. If we want to talk about Trina's love interest being Cardboard Kai I can agree.  This isn't the same thing.
    • Leslie is nuts! Her pretending to be Nicole was peak insane. Tricia has plenty to put in her Emmy reel, but that might seal a nomination. NuTed finally did something to break out of the background and hopefully he keeps it up. Vanessa trying to stand up for Nicole wasn't wrong, but she has no room to judge anyone on adultery. Doug seems like a good person outside of the gambling and clearly has never cheated, yet Vanessa has constantly played in his face with her cheating. Tracy got Anita to be truthful and for the mask to slip. If Tracy is this direct I cannot imagine how much Sharon is going to go in.

    • @ErrolI saw no new episode Monday, is it a repeat or just not airing due to the Holiday?

      Wonderful episode!!!!
    • I think we all dodged a bullet when Violet didn't get flown in to sing with the kids.
    • Just got home from work and chilling a bit before I dig into the new episode. I'm glad to read that Anita and Tracy had some good scenes and I can't wait to see TT finally get something to sink her teeth into.  She's far too talented and likable to continued being saddled with those weird monologues that even she can't make work all the time. The one thing I've noticed after about 60 episodes is that the show seems to rotate all the stories from week to week where they get A level attention.  So I have no doubt that Derek/Ashley will get less attention next week since they received B+ attention this week...and I guess Hayley finally is getting some attention though that means that energy vampire Dani will be seen

    • Oh! you're referring to the presence/strength that emanates from the actor. I was referring to the characterization.  Different things that can overlap. Okay. Yeah Keith has a softer presence than Maurice but they both compel me in different ways.   Perhaps we'll see Keith's presence stronger as he grows into the role.  At any rate, I personally found Keith compelling and wanted to watch him.
    • I am glad you brought this back up as it made me remember that the story was about Daran Kelly (Dan Kennicott). Sorry. I guess Dan didn't exactly set the world on fire either. I see that three actors played Wally, one of whom (Nigel Reed) would go on to play an even more thankless role on GL...no wonder he left the industry. Was his 1984 return for any reconciliation with Devon? They don't mention the reason on here.  Wally McFadden
