I think I could probably write the predictable meeting of Leo and Steve:  

Steve is walking through Horton Square, while Leo sits at a table drinking coffee.  Leo looks up and notices Steve. Under his breath Leo says, "Hello daddy."   LOL.

The show is 100% better without Leo.

I have a theory

We know from Instagram that Javi filmed a scene where he stopped a wedding due to fraud at some point in the future.

What if Doug III gets together with Leo?  But, Javi suspects he is a fraud.  Leo dismisses his concerns, as Javi has betrayed him in the past.  But as the wedding approaches, Gwen arrives, recognizes Doug as Spencer Olsen, tells Javi, and they stop the wedding.

Chanel comes home as Johnny and Alex are arguing.

Jada gives Rafe some news.

Jennifer gives Julie some upsetting news.

Doug Williams lll isn't a gay character and Rafe and Jada wedding was filmed back in June.

Some of the above-posted dates for the specific casting announcements - might be off by one airdate.   A few of the recent spoiler pics from the past several days seem to have been labeled with a JPI episode # that was off by one airdate.  Maybe some of the scenes from the week of Dec. 2nd might have been shifted to a different airdate during the editing process?
(I'm not sure, it's just a guess, I could be wrong.)

Given that Clyde wasn’t killed — and Days of Our Lives regularly resurrects the dead, anyway — it’s a safe bet that he’ll be back to stir up trouble down the road.

Caterina shot him in the chest, what do they mean he wasn't killed?  You don't go into a coma from a chest wound.

Another one bites the dust in Salem: James Read has left Days of Our Lives — at least for now.

His villainous character, Clyde Weston, was shot in the December 11 episode by Catherina Greene (Susan Elena Matus) for all the hell he’s brought to her family. He’s left in a coma.

“It’s been a fabulous run so far, only the soap gods know if it is meant to continue!” he tells Deadline. “I always think of Days as a family and have enjoyed every minute of working there since I started 10 years ago.”

I guess Deadline edited it more than once? because jswift quoted  Deadline as saying something about resurrections being common on Days so he could return down the road -- and the current version of Deadline doesn't say any of that.

It looks like crime no longer pays for Clyde Weston on Days of Our Lives, which means that it’s the end of the line for his portrayer, James Read, who first appeared on the show in 2014. Clyde found himself on the wrong end of Catharina’s gun on the Wednesday, December 11 episode of the Peacock soap and Digest can confirm the actor is out — at least for now.
