There are features from Twitter/X that should not be added and not going to lie, group chat is one of them. Spaces is the other. I'd rather see voice notes (in Chats/DMs), as well as image/video in Chat/DMs first, above all else.

There are some of us that do a group chat and it's very cathartic, cause we can rant to each other etc and keep it off the main page

I'm sooo glad people are turning away from the MAGA - X. It was about time. People should put a big X on X... and just sink it to nothing. But of course... Musk with his bots is going to continue faking engagement.

I've had a Spoutible account since Chris Bouzy opened it up. I just joined BlueSky the day after the election. It is going to be hard, but I am going to start to ween myself off of Twitter. I've done it with MySpace (damn, I miss that site). I hardly use IG and FB even though I still check them regularly. But I can't keep supporting Musk. We gotta hit him in his pockets.

Me, too, I mean about Spoutible. I am there but not often. BlueSky I am loving it. I'm on Threads but it has always been very underwhelming to me. On IG my pix & reels are quite good. On FB, I have a soap group with 3400+ members with about 300 who are active. I'm still on Twi/X but not very much. The only thing it has that BlueSky doesn't is group DM chat. I expect to leave it sooner rather than later.
