The way this show has wasted JJ's return.

Frank truly needs to go.

Very much so. So I'm happy that Lulu's return outside of block filming has been so good so far. I'm shocked at how invested I am given how I feel about the writing most of the time.

The change in Maxie, script-wise, has ben... outstanding. The re-pairing with Spinelli actually put some spunk back into the character that had been missing since pre-Nathan.

Serendipity.

They gave Maxie back her personality, and that has helped KS tremendously. I know there has been pushback on characters that are served better by allowing some humor in. But it was needed with her, and I have enjoyed her with Spinelli and their kids, because he has been allowed to calm down a little bit and mature. It just works for me after years of thinking they could all go.

Again, a silk robe and a silk pajama top that still covers her up but isn’t up to her neck and some messy hair would at least seem like these two people are a couple and might fool around.

AH has been really great as Lulu. I know Emme has her fans, but this suits Lulu more. I don’t think I will even miss JMB anymore, that’s how much I think she fits so well.

Also! I watch on Hulu and I just noticed they changed out Carly for Anna as the shot we see before the episodes start. It was Roger Howarth forever, then Carly (looking smug), and now Anna. I am thrilled to see anyone but Sonny, Carly, or Roger Howarth as the image.

I think with this show, humor should be used at the right time and with the right people and definitely...depending on the characters...need not be slapsticky. That said, Maxie is a character who benefits from having humor which was always a part of her personality with KS in the role. So glad it's back with her because she's given some of the funniest and snarkiest moments over the last few months. Doesn't seem out of place at all.  And I like having that character type around.

I hate the possibility of Gio being a long lost child of Dante and BL. We just had Cody, then Sasha, and Trina not long before them. That well needs to be dry for at least several years.

I feel kinda vindicated about Mansi, I said she was horrible on Days too, chewed the damn scenery and was basically scoffed at lol

I saw that too. Big surprise.

I’m with @carolineg and @titan1978Kirsten Storms as Maxie has been a treasure all year for me. I’m glad Korte and Mulcahey restored Maxie’s charm and sass and put her back with Spinelli, their little family unit is one of the shows brightest spots. I honestly wish they used the family more for their own story cause I wouldn’t mind a family caper adventure.

It’s also been great to see KS self confidence redevelop on screen, she’s been looking particularly 🔥 these last couple of weeks and you can see the effort she’s made to take better care of her health.

Now like @Vee I loved Amanda Setton on OLTL, when they paired her with Jerry Ver Don as Clint she was sensational. I’ve only seen her as Brook Lynn this last year but I had no trouble understanding why the ratings started collapsing when her and Chase were the front-burner couple, they’re boring as hell.

I’m cool with religious values preventing both actors from doing certain things but my problem is if the show is going to accommodate then they need to do a better job. That after glow scene should have been reworked if her modesty is too strong to take a robe off. 🤷🏾‍♂️ It was legit awkward to watch and AS often looks uncomfortable onscreen. I completely understand why people want another actress in the role.

I would keep the family unit intact for awhile and play story with them, sure, but I wouldn't keep Kirsten on the shelf with Bradford forever. She's got too much life again these days and while I like them together again I am not ride or die for it. Eventually down the road I'd recast Michael and bring him on as a sort of deadpan straight man/younger guy to Maxie's unlikely slightly older woman comedienne, something I've thought about doing with them for many years. A fish out of water thing. Sue me!

Never ever liked her as Maxie, I can tolerate her.

Fair enough.  I was just curious as to why.

You know I like Spinelli/Maxie a lot.  You've been saying this about Michael/Maxie for awhile and I don't think it's a bad idea at all.  Especially if they recast Michael.

Yeah I don’t see the vision with her and Michael lol, Spixie is my preferred endgame and I’d rather they keep them together. If they did do a break up I’d want a real attempt at Maxie and Lucky while JJ is still here.
