I was wondering if it was short for Alexandra because Sasha is the common Russian nickname for that.  But.....Holly's English so no idea.  I've known a couple Sasha's in real life and their real name was always Alexandra.

It's funny how the returns of B-characters like Ric and Lucas have been more successful than the return of A-characters like Jason and Lucky. 

I didn't think I'd see a return as bad as Jason's, but I think Lucky's does take the cake. We waited weeks for him to get back to town, only to see him back-burned when we does. I wonder if there is any behind the scenes stuff going on of Jonathan not liking the scripts and storylines.

I would have to agree about the B returns being better than the A returns. Outside of doing really well with Sam’s death, I wish Days had just offered Steve another contract.  I really enjoyed Harris and Jason is just…here. And occasionally Sonny’s errand boy. 

Don’t even get me started on Lucky’s return.

Oh, I can do way better!!! My favorite Sonny pairing is, was, always will be Sonny & Brenda. Plus, I fully appreciated her friendship/partnership with Lois. And, in general, to me, Brenda was an excellent member of that age group, so Jason, AJ, etc. AND, can't forget Robin! Basically, Brenda was one of the most popular "kids" and as characters go, integral to a helluva lot of the writing.

Am I in a minority position being happy with Jason's return? 

Now, Lucky, unless there's some temporary hold-up, then, they have just absolutely and completely dropped the ball. I don't even care if there are BTS factors going on, this is absurd. 

I think the lack of Lucky is down to not really wanting him back. Frank has never had a high priority on Liz or Laura, and I can't see them doing much with Aiden either. Some characters are suited to the past.
