I didn't like him, quite a lot, for a long time. Now that I have realized - took me way too long - that he is on the spectrum, I see him totally differently. And, so, now I like Spin!

BTW, in case anyone was wondering this is Day 191 of Jason's Return.

-- I NEVER thought I'd get CLOSE to liking Spinelli again after holding actual contempt for the character. Like others here, I've done a 180 on him.

-- Like others here, I am so done with Diane. I do appreciate that so many people hate her.

-- So glad that we're seeing so much of Liz these days.

-- Why didn't Anna tell Carly to get her ass out of Isaiah's room when she questioned him?

Fingers crossed that it is not.

Oh she has mos def been on fire. Even when she's just reacting. I love me some Mama Bear Alexis.

Same.

Yeah, this version of that couple is divine. Because they FINALLY grew up enough...and are still enough of their general personalities...that they make sense.

9-10

I would say the week is off to a strong start. I would say the only false note so far has been how random it seems to see Jordan and Drew around each other now. That...and the Heather storyline. I mean how did we go from a silly story that could have been a great umbrella story that had the town divided...to just something to give Portia (and Ric) something to do.

Two great days of Molly large and in charge. I still very much wish that she would have really let loose with Kristina on the 9-9 episode (at least she did with Alexis),  but she really got into her today. And as someone who hates when two people who supposedly are close enough to have code that even I can figure out, I LOVE Molly busting Kristina and Michael because their face code sucks. lol. And now she thinks that Kristina might be behind Wagger's death. smh. I did like that Kristina has enough of a brain to wonder why Michael is having her back...unknowing that Michael knows who really killed Wagger. Oh, what a tangled web we weave...

Okay NOW I'm wondering if there is something more I've supposed to be taking from these Jason/Anna scenes. At first it just felt like common interests and comradierie. But the scene with them in the office, and Jason putting his fingers on the police file while Anna's fingers were there. I mean is Anna trying to save Jason's soul...which has been much better served since he got back up until the last week or so...or are the writers really planning seeds for something else to happen between Jason and Anna?

Hehe...you know I loved my Liason scene and watching Liz and Jason compare notes. I also loved that Liz was the cliffhanger for the 6-9 episode where the Gannon doc realized he knew Lucky. And the cliffhanger for today. Could there finally be some movement coming with the Lucky storyline? And of course, my Beast had to help his gal Carly out with an updated update while flirting.

And time is ticking. The bad guy du jour might have to move his operation AND Lucky.

Everything with Sonny was old home week. And I just hate that Anna has been dumbed down like every police commissioner before her for Sonny.

And I continued to love seeing TJ and Ric bond. And seeing the long-missed view of TJ's bubble.

Yeah, when Anna was without jobs, her and Sonny had a nice interesting vibe to them at one point. And then it went away.

I cannot either on Jason/Anna which is why I'm wondering what these New/Old Writers are trying to do with this Jason/Anna stuff.

lol. I didn't even think of the Robin of it all. Yeah, mind blown.

Or at least someone that isn't a career criminal and wasn't in a long term, serious relationship with her daughter lol.

I wasn't particularly a fan of the Sonny/anna stuff, but it's more viable than Jason/Anna I guess.

It just don't see Jason hooking up with Robin's mom.  Not that Anna would hook up with Jason.  I just think Jason is super protective about his relationship with Robin.

    • I think someone said it did exist, but I can't remember.
    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
    • I can't remember exactly but I think she lives in or is part of the cottage story with Carrie. Carrie poisons her in this episode.  I forgot Teresa was on the show. (I see that AI is insisting she wasn't - well they're wrong) Poor Maeve. I can how even she had her limits.
