I don’t even remember him even really apologizing. Everyone just got over all of his verbal abuse for months in a matter of two seconds.

Sonny absolutely did a very intentional "apology tour". He went from person to person saying how he couldn't believe he didn't realize what was going on & more, including knowing he'd been awful. Now I hate the man, always have but when credit is due.

JGL/Blaze said something I found of interest. When she knew it was her last day, she checked the schedule to see if she could have an early day. There were 55 items. Then more were being added. She was in Scenes 1  through 23 and 73! Lol.

I find that Joss appropriately is a mini Carly in particular Laura Wright’s Carly. Like I can’t imagine her being any different and less hypocritical given who her mom is and that she was practically raised in Sonny’s household most of her life as well. If Jax was a bigger influence in her life I’d get the frustrations with the character but truly she’s just Mini Carly, sanctimonious and all.

When you put it like that, they should be at odds a lot more. Because in a lot of cases, there’s nothing more that a sanctimonious, hypocritical person hates than someone who’s just like them.

The scene that I was imagining practically writes itself:

Joss (shrieking): He cheated on you. He broke your heart. How can you forgive him?

Carly: The same way that Cameron forgave you!

The thing is, unfortunately if you ask me, Cam really did forgive her & basically just shrugged it off & went on his merry way. Probably the worst part of the situation Joss created with Cam was that he & Spencer nearly had a big falling out. His girlfriend, Joss, turned out to be temporary, but friendships like he & Spence seemed to have can, if you're lucky, last a lifetime.

Of course Jason has to be key to the Lucky in Africa business. God.

Jason makes since. Who was going to do it a 60ish Grandmother and her Shrink hubby?

They already went down there and have real stakes, so yeah I'd rather watch them than yet another story being hijacked for more of over the hill Jason, whose usefulness has long since run out for this show.

How ageist. And it's "sense" not "since" and no, Jason does not make sense.

Well, I'm not there for dissing Laura & Kevin, hey, the guy is pretty great  But, I do, agree, totally, that in this instance Jason does make a whole lot of sense.

I knew yesterday, in a flash, that Carly was NOT going to ask Brennan, no, once she had the 411 from Brennan, that either Jason was going to volunteer himself & his services OR THAT Carly was going to ask him. And, then, of course, he would say YES. Jason's devotion to Carly literally knows no bounds or limitations. And that is what got all of the Jarly "feels" going yesterday. Goosebumps!!! If you ask me, possibly, GH is back, baby.

I did think tying Tracy’s more mellowed state to her losses was a great way to move the character in a new direction. But I prefer her with bite. She was getting a little too Emma Snyder on the farm for me. There could be a happy medium.

I think part of the issue is there is so little flow that things happen out of nowhere that involve character behavior. This is a soap, we should see the beats of any major evolutions. Once upon a time we would have seen her grow and struggle with it. We would see Kevin and Laura dealing with being late in life parents to a baby. We would see Sam doing anything.

OK, but what we're seeing isn't a happy medium. Making Tracy obnoxious isn't a happy medium.

In addition, ALL of this baby talk with Brook Lynn is ridiculous. WTF would BL open herself up to Tracy this way regarding having children? She wouldn't.

Let me know when Brook Lynn discusses having babies with her damn husband.***

***Just a reminder that I don't want ANY more babies on this show.

I wrote the above post before Brook Lynn had a conversation with Chase FILLED WITH CLICHES about having a baby.

I knew it was’t going to be a Laura story, because this is when she takes her annual vacation. Hopefully this isn’t dragged out too much longer.

I admit that that crossed my mind. More in a 'wait! Are they going to have time for Laura to find Lucky before GF goes on her vacation?' than 'GF is going on her vacation now?'

But again...I was surprised that Laura was going to search for Lucky with Kevin in tow because I honestly thought it was going to be Jason that goes to get him. And look at how it's shaping out. lol.

A Granny who can kick butt though. ;)

But heaven forbid Laura has a story which as mentioned above would have more stakes than the run of the mill 'Jason to the rescue!' It was why I was surprised and excited when Laura said she was going. I guess we can't have nice things, can we?
