Lindsey McKeon is a laughable suggestion.

Very laughable. She did well as Marah... but she's not one for Lulu at all. Plus, I don't see her wanting to take the role based on the other roles I've seen her do in primetime. She usually goes for the sexier, more vixen-type of character, and that is not Lulu at all.

Jennifer Landon did take that weird short arc on Days in 2017, so maybe her taking this isn't as insane as her primetime credits would suggest...

Yup, and she even did The Young and the Restless in what was originally a long-term recast prior to a major regime change.

Team Landon here. Not every single 00s blonde girl should be considered for the part. With all these names, I find it weird that nobody has mentioned Adrienne Frantz.

😂😂😂

We got rid of the Australian... we don't need the pseudo female reflection of that.

With Landon though, she did Y&R back in 2012 (over a decade ago), and DAYS was a short-term stint. This was all prior to Yellowstone and getting upped to contract status there. What's in it for her to go back to daytime, especially with the possibility that Yellowstone might get a 6th season of some sort?

It's one of those things I'll really have to see to believe.

That's what I still don't understand (and I say that as someone who wants her for the role). Unless she just likes to work? The streaming crash is a jungle right now.

Well, when they approached, Yellowstone was done. It wasn't until recently there was mumblings of a potential continuation, so if she did not have a deal in-place to return, it made her an open agent. And maybe the guaranteed gig of daytime for her is more secure than a [potential] sixth season, which wouldn't guarantee anything beyond that.

Which just might be the case here as well. Which might be why she would do. Barring a writing regime change again.

Why would an actress like Landon, whose trajectory is on the rise, want to join a show with ratings and turnover like GH? Look, it's been my favorite show since I was 9 years old. I hate badmouthing the show-- but with Frank & Varni running things, I'm not surprised that actors with so much potential like Chavez leave. What does this experience offer her other than a paycheck? It would be great if she takes the role, but I'm not holding my breath expecting it.

Well with Yellowstone ending and perhaps her not being on a new show/spinoff, she might be looking for some form of job security which sadly soaps still do have that.

Fans of soaps seem to put them down by asking why some actors want to return. Work is work. Streaming is big  but a lot of those shows are only 10 episodes a season & a good number get canned after a year or two. Soaps produce 250 episodes  a year.

Because they understand career trajectories, John. Landon was just a castmember on the biggest show on streaming and her CV has become impressive in recent years. It behooves her to continue competing in that sphere. For the same reason NAC is not coming back to GH next year unless he runs over Ryan Murphy's dog or something.

She may just want to work or have other considerations and I would love to see her in the role, but it doesn't make sense for me.

This is not the 80's or 90s anynore. Acting work is acting work. Soaps give actors the chance to actually act. Streaming shows are 8-10 episodes a season and are lucky to make it 3 seasons.

Yellowstone is probably getting a sixth season. And not much has changed about actors wanting to get out of soap operas. You know that.
