I don't even remember Landon having that much energy on ATWT, although I haven't cared about going back to look.

I think she's great, but the writing (and her hair) were terrible. They tried very hard to fit her into a bland heroine mold at a point when the stories on the show were at a nadir.

Landon's popularity has always been on the rise. Her role as "Teeter" on YELLOWSTONE was (is) a departure from wringing her hands on daytime. I honestly see her aiming higher than GH for future roles. Havins would be good, but I honestly want to see a fresh face. As for Marcy Miller -- they just dragged zero energy off the screen with Monaco. I wouldn't hire Lindsey McKeon for any role on GH. Well, maybe a waitress at the MetroCourt, but not one with a lot of dialogue.

Outside of daytime is where I'd be looking, but then again, I'm sure #firefrank will just dig through his old photos from OLTL and we'll be stuck with a Jennifer Morris...

I must say I liked McKeon's work as Tessa the reaper on Supernatural (one of many, many women wasted on that show), but that was very ethereal and subdued work, which is a world away from this hellbeast that the show seems to want Lulu to be.

Jennifer Landon did take that weird short arc on Days in 2017, so maybe her taking this isn't as insane as her primetime credits would suggest...

Part of me hopes they don’t even announce who got the role and the camera just pans over to Lulu’s hospital bed one episode and we hear “The role of Lulu will now be portrayed by…” voiceover.

I feel the same. I would LOVE that.

And given all the cliffhangers (and not just on Fridays now) that GH has been giving as of late, I would not at all be surprised if that is how it breaks down.

Your optimism about Frank's decision-making at this point is somewhat alarming to me. But, what the hey, even a broken clock is correct twice a day.

It's the New/Old Writers I'm talking about; I couldn't care less about Frank.

No need to be alarmed.

See, this is the way I currently break it down.

FV = EP

FV = 3rd co-HW (uncredited of course)

FV = Casting Assistant (also no mention)

FV = Directing Rotation.

It's easy. He opens himself up for it.

You know, like Isaiah having to be named Gannon because he's still so fixated on ONE LIFE TO LIVE.  Having Sawandi Wilson play Tom (Baldwin) Hardy, Jr.  would generate some fan happiness. Can't have that.
