Tracy won’t take no for an answer. Liz and Portia catch up. TJ and Molly cleaer the air. Kristina makes a bold suggestion. A shot rings out at the Metro Court pool! :

Brook Lynn doesn’t want to be Tracy’s mole at Deception, but Tracy won’t take no for an answer. Later, at dinner with Chase’s family, Gregory’s innocent questions reveal BL’s ambivalence over her Deception job, which leads Chase to ask BL, why did she go back then? Liz and Portia catch up on their recent relationship woes. Later at Metro Court, Liz and Finn come face-to-face and Gregory takes Violet home so the two can talk privately.

TJ and Molly clear the air and decide to drop the baby talk for the time being. Kristina misses helping people and at EOD, Molly overhears Kristina say to Alexis that she could be a surrogate for TJ and Molly. Sonny asks Dante to be his best man at his and Nina’s fall wedding. Awkward moments abound when Jordan, Zeke and Portia cross. And (not again!) … at EOD, Dante spots the flash of a rife barrel pointing at Anna and Sonny as shots ring out at Metro Court pool!

I agree, as he says here and as I've said in the monthly threads, that Finn's exit could've been longer, darker and more drawn-out and full of high drama. But given the chaotic BTS state of the show and many other issues I can understand just brooming him out quickly, and I'm glad they did that too.

Wow. So, no notice to him about the fact he couldn't do McBain? Wonder if Roger Howarth and Kristen Alderson received the same notes about Todd and Starr, respectively? What shîtty way of doing things, but Prospect Park weren't messing around it seems. They wanted things done, shut and closed.

And I don't doubt Michael Easton is a nice guy... but his tenure(s) on General Hospital, much like Howarth, ran on for far too long. Yes, it would have been nice to hit a few more beats to the story, but given how drawn-out things can be on this soap I am also okay with the snap-jump of the story.

Nobody had the choice, but had they stayed as Todd, McBain, and Starr, I think they would have been more successful. None of the new roles worked as well, and the show still trying to make them work was a disservice to everybody.

The biggest downfall of that time was the unresolved Tómas/Alcazar storyline, and we've never seen Skye again.

Honestly that whole mess would've likely been stupid no matter how long RC got to play with it. For me the simple one-line answer is: Tomas in his capacity with the CIA/various intelligence agencies posed as the Alcazars at one point as part of a spy operation, and is possibly distantly related to them. That's it, he's not secretly Lorenzo or Luis Alcazar from GH.

I would be happy to see Skye again (in doses) or Lila Rae, and I would be pleased to see TK return as Lorenzo. But the Tomas thing can be explained in one line of dialogue and you move on - not that it really needs to be referenced again either.

It doesn't at this point. It's 11 to 12 years passed at this point. Don't beat the dead horse.

i actually love Alley Mills, but this storyline is really making Laura more annoying than usual and look like a buffoon, and I'm starting to dislike her. Why can't Alley Mills just be a recast of Helena Cassadine (or anyone else, tbh... Nina's mom back from the dead, maybe?) or something? Why a reformed serial killer. lol
