Brady said he had been invited by Sarah and RSVPd but didn't know he was attending Theresa's wedding too. He ultimately decided to still go

The plot of Brady relapsing would be believable if it happened back when he lost Rachel for him to relapse now it just seems the writers didn't know what they wanted to do with Brady

The show has struggled defining Brady for years.  He goes back and forth from being a good guy to slightly grey. They can't really find a solid love interest for him, his job is super uninteresting, his connections are solid but at times ill defined, and he really is no different from Eric lol.  He coasts on being John and Marlena's son.  EM is likable and handsome enough, but people like Drake and Peter were leading the show at his age.  Brady is still living with his parents in his late 40's lol.

I think the main reason they have Brady living with John and Marlena is because of his addiction but his new problems coming up will only lead to nothing but drama by him drinking again

I think it looks like that because that is what it actually is. We have to give Martsoff some story, what can we give him?

I guess.  I just find Brady relapsing again to be a cheap move and not terribly interesting.

Days has long had an issue with investing in the "next" generation.  They coast on their vet stars so much there isn't a solid plan on who is going to lead the show when they are gone.

But, if it lasts until the 70th anniversary, we have the perfect villain origin story for Rachel.  Psychotic and unavailable Mom, alcoholic Dad, insecure home, perfectly combine to make a nightmare female antagonist.

I don't want Sophia to be a psycho, but I want her to go scorched earth on Tate/Holly.  They are just so unlikeable and stupid lol.

With Holly and Tate characters I just don't care about them on the show I know some people do like them

Tate and Holly do kinda deserve it for what they did to her at prom, even though her blackmail scheme is a little stupid. Hopefully, she’s written well and becomes an actual spoiler for Tate/Holly. If she’s gonna be the new Jan, I’d rather she be Teen Mean Girl Jan instead of Psycho Jan. 

As for Justin, I’m so glad that he finally lost his s*it with Alex today and let him know how he was feeling. That part of the storyline really needed to be played more, a lot more than Alex’s thing with Kristen and Theresa should have. We should have seen Justin talking about the way he was feeling about all this a lot more. With Bonnie, or Maggie or Sonny. Anyone. 

I liked the Brady/Theresa scenes too. They almost seemed like closure for the two of them, which also does kinda suck but I thought that they both did a good job. Hopefully, Theresa sticks around once all the secrets come out. There’s still so much that can be done with her. 

I highly doubt Theresa is going to stick around because based on next week's spoilers it looks like that Theresa may be preparing to leave town again. Which is fine by me because viewers as a whole need a long break from this character. I certainly do. Besides, the whole town is going to be pissed at her and want nothing to do with her and not even her son will want anything to do with her.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. Maybe if Brady and Chloe hadn't split up when they did, they probably would still be together by now and they also would have had kids of their own. Maybe Tate and/or Parker would've been their offspring together. Brady would've been better off in the long run and so would Chloe.

I actually would have went with Brady/Chloe as well as endgame.  I don't mind Phillip/Chloe, but the actor changes so often it's not worth it to me.  They really needed to establish Brady with a coupling years ago.  I get Brady won't have the John/Marlena soulmate romance, but he's been paired with a few ladies that could have worked.  And Theresa and/or Kristen isn't that.

I thought he was quite good with LH as Arianna and SJB as Madison and they got killed off lol.

Me, I loved him with Chloe & I also loved Chloe! I never understood why they couldn't or wouldn't write for her!!
