According to TVLine, Bryan Craig is returning to “General Hospital” as Morgan Corinthos, albeit for just one episode.

Craig will appear in an episode that airs in early August. However, details surrounding his return, particularly whether he’ll be back as a ghost or in a dream sequence, remain unclear.

Earlier this month, I reported that the show had no current plans to revisit the Morgan Corinthos character or have Craig return as a newly created character. However, on Tuesday, June 18, Craig shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set that seemingly confirmed his return.

The photo posted to his Instagram story did not include a caption, text or Craig himself showing he was formally back on the set, although he did include a “praying hands” emoji on the bottom right corner.

Craig’s Instagram post followed previous posts on X (formerly Twitter) in which he said, “Who could it be…….,” in response to a Soap Opera Digest story that included a photo of the actor alongside three other prominent former cast members who the outlet pondered could be returning. Shortly after that tweet, Craig responded again with a “thinking face” emoji.

While TV Line noted in the title of their article that Craig is confirmed to be the former male cast member executive producer Frank Valentini was referring to when he indicated fans would go “crazy over him” in an interview on the Daytime Emmys red carpet earlier this month, I’m hearing that the individual in question will make their return to the canvas in the fall.

Since exiting the role of Morgan Corinthos in 2016, Craig has gone on to star in such shows as “Valor,” “Grand Hotel,” and, more recently, “Good Trouble.” He appeared in an episode of “Walker” in 2021 and the film “That’s Amor” in 2022, a romantic comedy about a young woman who loses her job the same day she catches her boyfriend cheating on her. Craig played the cheating boyfriend. Riley DandyIsaac Gonzalez RossiGregory Zarian (“Venice: The Series,” “General Hospital”) and Paul Witten also starred.

I'm good.

Bryan Craig was not now, or ever, the returning former male cast member that would make fans go "crazy." That's not an offense to Bryan, but the facts. I'll share more when I can, but I do think fans will be pleased with who the actual person is, especially as a real storyline will come out of it. That can't always be said for most returning actors/characters.

Oh, how I side-eyed at that picture and will probably hiss when he hits screen. FV and his obsession.

That said, thank you, for saying we can still dream of who the REAL returnee is. Cuz I'm holding out for Lucky so hard it's not even funny.

He won’t bring back Craig fulltime coz he know he would be the only one right now making Sonny see sense in what he’s been up to lol we can’t have that lol

but I’m really excited about the real actor fans would go crazy over. I hope it will either be Lucky or Frisco
