Saw the pictures… remember years ago when they weren't so tall.

Edit:

How long has it been since Luke called her "Mama"? I missed that nickname.

Couldn't sleep last night so I got caught up on GH (didn't take long, though I'm really enjoying McBam more than I ever thought I would), then started wandering around the tube. Someone has edited the best Thanksgiving in years IMO, and so for your viewing pleasure….

Here are spoilers for this week vis SoapZone:

  • The cops let up on Luke and Tracy. No body, no proof, right? But Lulu grapples with what she knows.
  • Anna may change her mind and take on the police commissioner job, thus possibly providing a roadblock for Luke and Tracy’s getaway.

    and whatever this is..........

    • Anna changes her mind. She accepts the job as the town’s new police commissioner after all.
    • Anna and Luke, ooh la la.

Luke/tracy were cut from today's show I think with lulu

the recap on abc.com was lulu strugglying with what she knows for today

DZ said at his PA this weekend that a bunch of the luke/tracy/lante scenes were edited way down because trhe show was running over

dialogue was cut etc

And of course we wouldn't want to miss a minute of johnny/carly and flashbacks and the OLTL peeps

Frak - they really don't get it do they. I thought this team would appreciate the point that the vets are beloved because they actually bring the goods. We don't need hurricane Carly every other day.

Getting less and less interested by the minutes…..

some good news on DOOL front for you. I hear the new "old" writers love Suzanne and she has been working like every day so I would assume maggie/victor will be back

When the new writers came on I was SO excited and thought the first couple weeks were great but it has gradually gotten worse.

I've accepted we'll never see Bobbie again, but I had higher hopes for Tracy than this. :(

tony is gone now so it will be interesting to see how much jane works when she isn't even paired with him. you know finola will be working for sure as police commissioner

Oh and JE is going to be at NLG's fan event again this year. I"m going to LA in July for a bit but not sure when yet.

Oh Thanks Hooked, the MarDar stuff was horrible and I'm so glad it's done.

I'm still not sure what I think of these writers on GH. Some areas have had major improvements, others have not. I just don't know.

Yay! Was hoping we could go together again! I'm trying to figure out my trip now. I think that is a W or TH night. I wouldn't go to FCW but I would go see Nancy again. Remember last year Nex how she was singing GW's praises and how great of stories the women were getting etc and JE was like "yah we'll see...." LOL

ABCD plot points info (I think this is later this week or next week)

Tracy tells luke she loves him and they kiss

Anna and Luke kiss

The whole Luke/Anna thing is gross on too many levels to count, and I can't see it being anything other than a huge fail before you even get my person preference involved.

But I'll be happy to see Tracy's honesty, because Luke has admitted to Anna at least, that he loves Tracy. Let's hope they don't cut LuNacy's moment.

Heather is the wild card in this one. I just hope she goes after Tracy rather than Anna, because A: that means she recognizes Tracy is Luke's real love, and B: Luke will have to work more to protect Tracy while Anna can take care of herself

tracy and luke on tomorrow

RC in SOD this week talks about tracy and luke and luke and anna and how eventually it is gonna go one way or the other but he has to decide and he doesn't want to disappoint anyone and its like a dream come true for him to write for Tony, Jane and Finola etc best actors in daytime or anywhere etc...

He says he thinks to please everyone he should make them in a polyamorous relationship--something never done before on daytime

um....

Also tony in ABC sid is in an article with JJ and nP and he talks about how he had the best acting family around with them as his sons and Jane and Julie--the five of them were his dream team family etc

They were a dream team, and it's too bad they are mostly gone. I loved watching them and only wish Brook and Dillon were there with them.

Polyamourous? Could be interesting but somehow I can't see the character of Anna going for anything like that. Tracy would be on the fence and would probably have a hard time with someone again not wanting to commit to her alone. Luke would probably enjoy it both because it would appeal to his hedonistic tendencies but also because he wouldn't have to hurt one over the other. But I just don't think this team has the chops to even pretend to do it.

    • Kimberly McCullough shadowed at GH and completed an ABC directing program, but I don’t believe she was ever credited as director or given an episode of her own to do. One of the reasons why she got work so quickly was because she had multi-cam knowledge from years on soaps.
    • Do not apologize for this. I was thinking just today it's bringing me fond memories of when I was a teen of Angie and Jessie. Jenny and Greg, Philip and Beth. And although they were teens, Steve and Betsy. I like a good teen story.
    • Yeah Suzanne mentions Y&R here (no spoilers in the article) https://www.tvinsider.com/1227485/days-of-our-lives-suzanne-rogers-anniversary-maggie-storylines-mickey-victor/
    • I wonder if she may be transitioning to behind the scenes. How many GH actors have also directed while acting on the show?
    • Despite my wish that Ric get revenge on Alexis and the gang, I really enjoyed their scenes today. RH and NLG have honestly never lost their chemistry with one another. Seems like Carly genuinely let herself give into Brennan today and regret it. Also just cause I smoked earlier it, it randomly hit me for the first time in over a decade. They had Michael murder Claudia played by the actress that played all of the most important early Michael stories. Kinda twisted lol
    • -- I love a good build, and the show has made me look forward to Winterfest. But some things seem so forced. -- For example, the Vernon/Sharon meetups. GMAB. It's so obvious what this is and they're playing it too hard for too long. I think one purpose is to make Leslie look like a fool, but it's hard to take. Is the tour over for Sharon? Does she sit in the hotel room all day long waiting for Vernon? Is he paying her bills? It's dumb. -- Leslie is an awful human. I don't think she gives a rat's ass about Peaches. She cares more about Eva's sex life. -- Izaiah and Eva have nice chemistry, but their conversation seemed forced to me. Didn't sound like first date dialogue and was too on the nose. -- Shanice was great in taking down Leslie. I'm so glad the writing didn't have Leslie land the biggest smackdown. Dr. Wilkes was also great. -- Again, Leslie is spending like she's worth a bajillion dollars. This has to be written for laughs. -- I've done a complete turnaround on June. I now think she's a great addition. -- Martin and Smitty are so concerned that Tyrell learn about Banneker that they call in a guy who started work there this week?

-- Tyrell is so much more mature than Samantha. I hate the way she treats him and talks about him in front of others. She really sat there and asked Jessica why she's even with Tyrell. Samantha is pathetic. Screenshot time: -- If I can get Fish & Fries at Orphey Gene's for $5, why is a glass of juice $4 ? -- That Mr & Mr sign at Martin and Smitty's is beyond lame and tacky.
    • So do I. Jack actually treats her like an equal partner. And he’s done far less evil things Nikki has just to ignore including to his own kids than Victor any day.
    • This 11/17 episode was extremely lazy and boring. That Adam and Chelsea opening scene was so cringe and out of character for both. Billy Flynn is being wasted and I was only interested in Claire and Holden. Every character feels the same with no actual personality.
    • Ugh...right? At least if Chris Bernau had been able to continue in the role, it would've been intriguing to watch Alan manipulate Reva.
    • Yes, it was. Dinah had started to soften after Henry's heart attack in March. After Paige Turco took over the role, the attitude is turned way, way down. The thing about Vanessa was, she could be very territorial. If Dinah had gone to Lillian (who had befriended Dinah before she knew Vanessa was her mother), that would've stung a bit, but Van probably would've understood. But Dinah getting advice from Ross' new girlfriend would not have sat well with her, the same way Van later bristles anytime Nadine tries to stake some kind of role in Bill's life. @DeeVee I know it's been brought up before, but I hadn't really connected Long breaking up Ross/Van to the fact that she'd neither created that backstory or been responsible for giving them a love child. I wonder what she would've done had she been there when Jordan left, and had to break Billy/Van up.
