I swear someone on here said Michael Easton was just not available or out of town when these shots were taken so it means nothing.  You know I'd be thrilled with ME out, but I thought it just meant he wasn't there lol.  I also know zero about these cast/promo shots, so I could be wrong.

Dominic Zamprogna was the one out of town for the shoot; the pic of him in the key art is from the prior shoot. Michael Easton and Adam J. Harrington (John Cates) are the only two contract actors who were in the recent shoot and not included in the key art. Harrington is brand new to the show so I assume that's why he was left out. Easton is the only actor in the background tile photos that isn't in the cast groups. Almost as if his main pic was removed at the 11th hour...

Fantastic job on the art!

Watching Friday’s episode, and it feels more like an episode by the prior team than anything has since Dante was shot. There was a lot of plot regurgitation and a lack of some of that deeper humanity that had been there since PM arrived. At least to me.

Okay, I found out some stuff. No, I can't provide a link or page number, etc. so those of you who do not want to know this kind of information, please scroll on by. This came to me through a particular gay male community where it is in a Venn diagram with soap opera fandom. I know the parties & know they are being truthful.

1. It was Korte who recommended Patrick. (Makes perfect sense. She had worked with him. She did not want to be sole HW. She was open to working with someone good.)

2. A great deal of extensive begging was required before he agreed. (This suggests to me that he may have had some severe reservations about what working for Frank Etc. would be like.)

3. He quit.

Everyone who suggested things like this, right on, very perceptive of you!

Also, I'm not going to fight about this. Read it, don't. Say your worst. I'm done. HUGS.

They all look great, as expected, but the editing used to make them all the same height distorted some of them.  For example, look at Kelly Monaco (aka Sam), her head looks enormous considering that it starts at the top of Maurice Bernard's head and ends in the middle of his chest.  Just nitpicking on a Sunday afternoon.

Yeah that's all ABC's doing lol, Liberty City just did a horizontal merge of the four key art images. The one that bugs me most is DZ. His pic stands out because it's from the prior shoot (glad they included him though) but why does Dante look so giant and tall?! Even with the intended perspective of him being in front of the others, it's still unrealistic how tall he appears.

    • It really is ridiculous how happy episodes from 40 years ago make me. God, MKA is so young!
    • Holy sh.it. THAT was a damn soap opera. I’m at a loss for words for how good that was.
    • A private elevator penthouse with a spiral staircase to the primary suite.  Sign me up! The only deficit was that various riff-raffs seemed to have easy access to the elevator.

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
