Hi all,

I just have a few questions re Days please. Firstly, has Doug had an on screen funeral yet? Also, I was wondering whether the flashback episode in February which featured Tom and Alice Horton was worth watching? Thanks in advance.

I can't say about the latter, but Doug's funeral won't air until December.

There is already a quite active topic like this.

You could’ve posted this in the regular Days thread lol

As for your first question, No. Doug is actually still alive. His last appearance is coming up soon though. Spoilers say that

Spoiler

Doug’s funeral is going to coincide with the 15000th episode, which isn’t gonna be til like December

As for your second question, absolutely. That really was one of the best episodes of the year so far.

I really enjoyed that episode. I would say, yes, watch it.

They just taped the Doug Memorial, so it will be months before it airs.

However, if you wanted to see Bill's service it is up on YouTube.

I can't see one anywhere.

Thanks for the replies @AbcNbc247, @Bright Eyes and @Contessa Donatella! I have missed my Days fix.

Hey, you're welcome. I just re-read my notes for that episode. I take notes while I watch the show. Then I may use them to write a post or whatever. Then every once in awhile I go through & toss or keep accordingly. That day included the young actors who were cast as Young Tom & Young Alice & they had a picnic. Leo was taking notes to write a straight story, not a gossip column. Susan (Julie) had several monologues as she was primarily the one telling history. I remembered really enjoying the show that day.

Change of subject:

Did anyone get any writing credits yet? I just looked at the closing credits for yesterday. No writers shown. So maybe yesterday Ron only tweaked & maybe his first official day is actually next week.

Alice Horton is one of my favourite characters, I wish there were more clips of her online. I like that they chose to do a flashback episode. How is the show performing on streaming?
