@carolineg @Vee The casting of Kimberly J. Brown (as Marie/Chloe) & Lily Anne Harrison (as Andrea) were wasted. Easily, Harrison could've been Serena returning to Port Charles as a surrogate for Molly & TJ. And Brown would've been a suitable Serena and / or Christina. Again, both capable actresses cast in pointless roles, especially Brown. Also, Christina's middle name is supposedly Gail, so she could go by Gail, as an ode to Scott's mother?

My choices would be unpopular, because I would potentially try to poach Camryn Grimes or Linsey Godfrey for Christina and I know they have mixed reception these days at best lol.

"Fair enough," he said, grumbling.

I got it!  Christina Gail...C.G....Ciji!

(beat)

Well, I'm sure Ron Carlivati would love it.

This is where you have the Terminator say, "Come with me if you want a better job!".

You really want to call her “Julie” after her serial killer bio mom, lol?

My vote’s for “Tina”!

And if “Tina” isn’t doable for whatever reason, then my next vote is for her porn name, “Crave.”

Damnit I’ve genuinely been enjoying this wedding. The Bensonhurst crowd has actually been quite entertaining so naturally Sonny had to ruin it

Maurice trying to play a tough guy in what I assume are his late 50’s early 60’s was quite laughable. They really had Dex get bloodied and beaten by this man.

I was actually shocked they even showed BLQ and Chase even kiss on a bed, granted she was still wearing a wedding dress.

Cody and Sasha are the cure to insomnia and are jumping right back on my fast forward list.

Overall I would say this is one of the better soap weddings I’ve seen in like a decade. Just the fact that they used so much of the cast in this day and age truly made it great.

I’ve admitted Kate Mansi is my preferred Abby on Days but she has won me over as Kristina. However this retcon that Kristina hasn’t always known her dad was a violent mobster really doesn’t land for me at all. She’s like 30 or something by now and has literally grown up around this mob life with him. I get that they need to isolate Sonny further but Kristina’s reactions despite how well Mansi is selling it, are over the top. I hate as a viewer when we’re treated like years and years of a characters history just didn’t happen.

There was a really touching scene with Finn and Gregory and I believe it was the most I’ve seen Michael Easton try ever.

Oh, yeah.  I can tell already that Dex will be a tremendous asset to the PCPD, lol.

If Chase and BLQ ever conceive a child together, it’s gonna be a damn miracle.  Literally.

    • Oups!! I guess when i was doing the editing, i left a part of 3169, too (RTL Lounge airs 2 episodes per day back to back). Sorry about that ! Tonight i ll try to record 3171-3172. If i m not mistaken 3172 is missing from YouTube.

    • I would put Felicia in the 'small dose' auntie category because she means well, but comes on too strongly at times.  In small doses, she would be a blast to hang out with.. but in anything larger than a small... she would be exhausting. I tend to prefer lower key people than people that are always 'on' all the time.  Those people can veer off into energy vampire status pretty quickly.
    • I didn't like the Harry story, but Nazar did have a great introduction. He was probably the highlight of last year.  Now that you mention it, I guess the truly dire stories (Nicole, Harper/Drew/Phil, Nicole) didn't start until summer.
    • thank you all for contributing to the Vault. I am slowly getting towards watching the 1998 episodes

    • I pray⏤and I know it's a big prayer⏤that Noel Maxam is somehow able to figure things out budget-wise so we can stop re-dressing existing sets as "new" sets. I know in apartment buildings apartments can generally look the same, but I'm over it on this soap. The last time he was executive producer was in 2011 when the original Horton Town Square was introduced, and we had some other sets get introduced around this time (likely pre-commissioned prior to his election), but I'm trying to have some hope he can pull this off. Let's [finally] see it.
    • Definitely not the best of RC's breakdowns. I don't know what it says that I could pick up his trademarks yesterday 30 minutes in without even knowing that he did one. There was something more...quirky/boardstroked...about Dani. Though I love the Dani/Nicole scenes, she was just a little too hip?...which made me think back to the episode when she broke into Bill/Hayley's house. Then watching the episode later on, I saw Hayley was being used as a punchline to the more interesting and relevant Bill/Ted scenes (see you all were just talking about how you hoped they got scenes...one thing this show is great at...what people want on this board...they already have the foresight for it. The reason I feel the DNA test will get mentioned @Cheap21 in more detail). And then poor Anita reduced for the most part propping up an album.    Needless to say, not my favorite RC episode. And since we are in aftermath week, I just smh. And barely worth a rewatch. BUT...was there good for me?    Yes. Thankfully, we still got good aftermath beats regardless of the breakdown.   Like I said, I really like the Dani/Nicole scenes. But I love their dynamic. And I was looking forward to the shoe being on the other foot once the SilkPress storyline hit climax. Quirks aside, it did not disappoint. Dani came in, and she came in fierce for her sister. I loved her attacking Eva. And then her being surprisingly introspective about Nicole due to her own experience. No wonder Nicole reacted to her being self-aware. So did I.    Meanwhile Bill and Ted finally met up. I'm kinda sad that we did not get that sooner given the scenes that played out sidepiece in the background aside. It might have been interesting to see more of their status as non-Duprees coming into the family explored.    And of course I can't leave without mentioning Eva vs SilkPress Sheila which was the highlight. Both of them were giving. And SilkPress was just so cold with it. I did love that Eva finally stopped letting her gaslight her. Sad to see the duo break up. But I did love that she went to Ted. So...the next turn begins.   And speaking of turns...uh oh at Kat and Tomas. I'm sure he won't be staying away from her. So most definitely, Kat vs Eva ain't over. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that most people know that Kat was right all along.
    • Nah I enjoyed it much more last year because of the Harry plot that ended during that time. Nazar being introduced and them. But this time it is so lame and nothing I like forward to anymore and I’m one of them long time fans. Of course I would be upset if they would cancel it but maybe take a year off or two and return refreshed
    • came across this quote that provides some context: “It’s hard to escape the cultural reach of the Catholic Church when you live in the Western world. It is, for better or worse, one of the load-bearing walls of our civilization. Its influence wafts from the church into the streets of civic life, the courts, the schools, the arts.”
