Do you mean by trying to access it directly on YouTube? If that's what you mean then I don't get that at all. It's odd that you try pulling it up but it doesn't appear.

Oooooo love. TT with that drapery on one side and her hair on the other walking toward the camera is giving diva. DD with the bob and side turn is giving vixen. And KM with the golfclub. Over that dramatic music...YES, PLEASE.

Should we get an intro of the characters appearing, how y'all want it to go? Perhaps this order?

Vernon, Dani, Nicole, Ted, Martin, Smitty, Kat, Tomas, Andre, Bill, Hayley, Naomi, Jacob, Chelsea, Ashley, Derek, Vanessa, Eva, "Leslie", and Anita.

ETA: If the actual opening isn't what we see in the promo.

Actually, I'm not a fan of featuring cast members in openings, since we know how cast members can come and go so quickly on soaps.  But that's just me.

Point taken. I would just hope if they didn't spring for the cast opening that they would find some way to make it interesting otherwise.

It's entirely possible there will be no cast opening. Just the shot of the house and gates we've seen in the promos.

Personally I’m hoping for the show to succeed. However the promo feels lackluster to me, in typical CBS 2020 fashion. 

It’s obvious they have built a large and lush set to keep over the years like the Forrester mansion. Doesn’t say much. 

Then it must be equally a stretch to say you’re excited over the promo?

Also - although the show will certainly be diverse, I didn’t appreciate CBS feeding into the angry black woman stereotype right off the bat.

I agree in practice—if they could quickly update the openings and make new cast members’ shots look as high-quality as those done in the original shoot, I’d be fine with them. (Some of the cheap insertions in those ATWT openings made me giggle.) But we know that rarely happens.

And we’ve seen how long Y&R takes to get new cast members featured in their rotation. Sometimes years, if at all. And GH’s pinball machine roll call is pretty much useless and seizure-inducing. Just have a memorable theme, an iconic shot of the gates opening, and be done with it.

Definitely what I expect it will be, though I always like a cast ensemble opening.
