My Violet hate is so strong.  If I could get rid of that kid and have to deal with Charlotte I would.  She's slightly less grating and agreed about De-Spencering her.  Lulu's children make no sense to me.

Speaking of Joss, we can probably ditch Dex.  He doesn't bother me terribly but the weird younger Jason hitman thing makes him forgettable.

I think CW would kill a breakdown story.  That's a great idea.

Why choose? Both must feed the fire.

Yeah, Dex would be gone. And yes, Nina vs. Brenda writes itself, especially with the fashion/cosmetics angle in business story that could introduce itself in the beginning with Lucy, Deception, Crimson, whatever before Nina swiftly realizes that this is the one major figure in Sonny's life that she knew very little about and that eclipses her both personally and professionally. You could also have Maxie maybe leave over differences with Nina re: Crimson, Kate's legacy, whatever to begin to build on that.

If you are making me choose I would say bye to both Charlotte and Violet.  Scout's probably on my list too just because it's a dumb name.  And we can get rid of Kemo and keep Lindsay Hartley.

I am still a little salty at Maxie for getting so jealous of Brenda over Spinelli a decade ago.  Brenda would not go for Spinelli ever.   But I would be here for Brenda vs. Nina as long as it's not weirdly one sided like Carly vs. Brenda was.

I have seen bits and pieces.  I know CW is a very good actress.  I just can't with Nina.

I'm not! And Sam would be gone because Sam as a character is just done and burnt out, at least for many years. There's no need to keep her or her unnecessary kids or Maxie's. Some of the kids can return as needed SORASed someday.

You are preaching to the choir about Sam.  Maybe we can just hire LH as a new love interest for Dante.

Also, where has Sam's kid Danny been?  I only saw Scout over the holidays.  Is he just not around?  I don't care, but I was like I think Sam has two kids?  With a broken uterus.

The "she's come undone" storyline is quintessential Cynthia Watros.

I know you don't, but the two instances where he's appeared were quite well done and miles better, in terms of legal-world, than anything Martin / Diane have given us in YEARS. Plus, we could rid ourselves of Kentucky Fried Martin and potentially pair Lucy with Jackson, or even Jackson with Alexis.

I'd be open to it; I've liked Tanisha Harper since day one, despite how green she was. But, it's clear to me her hiring was a result of the fact Sean Blakemore was leaving. A.K.A. "we're losing a Black actor, so we've got to hire another!"

Since I am already on a tear and being mean to little children on GH's cast I will just say CW should not have done any work on her face.  She's very good and I am surprised she didn't make a bigger splash on primetime even though I know that Lost DUI didn't help.

    • Today was very focused on Bo and his illness.  I’m liking how everything is ultimately tied together, even though everybody doesn’t know it yet. The EJ connection seems a little sudden and random though. I’m guessing that that was not on Ron’s agenda. And I’m not really sure why any of these rich people couldn’t help the hospital months ago lol  But I really like how the whole sepsis drug thing is being written a lot more realistically than what we’ve grown accustomed to with Dr. Rolf and all of his wonder drugs. They’re definitely putting more of an effort into this storyline. It feels more real.  Philip was a little whiny and self-pitying today, but I also feel like the writing has improved for him as well. He’s coming off less like a villain and more like a tragic hero. I enjoyed his scene with Stephanie and hopefully it means that at some point, we’ll get a revival of Philip/ Stephanie/Alex. Tying it to Stephanie’s novel could be really good. And, the dorkiness of Xander and Sarah was really sweet too. I’m looking forward to their weekend together and what secrets may or may not come out lol

You're in the same category of the hacks that sell paintings with a single dot for thousands or even millions of dollars.

    • I have to check out his Bela Garody on Search for tomorrow. He was one of the main reasons EON worked for me when I was watching. Truly unforgettable presence. Handsome in the most perverse and sinister way. They don't make faces like that anymore.
    • My favorite moment in SOAPDISH is the HW taking the star to the mall in NJ to improve "morale"!!
    • Oh no! The shoulder pads! I will mourn them when they're gone. Please tell me the head pieces and hats remained!?
    • Shout! TV has now added season 26. Not sure what the reasoning for that was, but maybe it was the one that was ready to go...
    • It's AWFULLY hard to tell.  But out of the (approximately) 16 weeks so far in 2025, Bryton has only had about 12 episodes.  That's significantly less than 1 per week.  Once the actor drops down to less than 1 per week for an extended period of time (such as a 39-week cycle), I start thinking there's no contract in place for him or her.  Surely these folks aren't tying themselves down to a show for a guarantee of 1 or 2 episodes a month.   If I counted right, Bryton has had 21 episodes in the past 24 weeks.  They're either (a) about to kick into high-gear & work his ass off to meet his minimum guaranteed appearances, or else (b) he ain't got a contract that guarantees him squat.
    • These contract guarantees of 1 ep per month are ridiculous. How can you even have a story if your character apprars 4-5 times in a month? It's sad.
    • It's hard to tell with some actors appearing on average 4 times in a month whether they're recurring or just on a low guarantee contract. Someone recurring  like Beth Maitland can be used a lot for several months then disappear. So the monthly tallies aren't enough to go by.
