Well, in the words of "In Living Color's" Miss Anita, I'm not one to gossip but....

When I lived in Atlanta I knew a few recording industry types (both professional and wannabes) and quite a few of my friends were from the NYC rap/hip hop scene and the constant rumors were that Mr. Simmons liked playing mostly on the all-male team, and his role as a powerful recording exec in the hip hop scene allowed for his having a nice selection of grade A prime rib young male specimens. In addition, another prominent rap artist who helped lay the foundations of Simmons' Def Jam Records, a major sex symbol, got his start, rumor has it, as a boy for hire in the shadows of the nights in various parks in NYC, and to this day still enjoys the company of boys more than of the women who throw their undergarments onstage during his concerts....

OMG, I sound like Wendy Williams....LOL

This was posted on PerezHilton a few days ago....

"Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons are all smiles, holding hands, at the 'Get your Money Right' Hip Hop Summit in Detroit, Michigan on March 25th.

The couple seems to be putting on a united front amidst rampant speculation that their marriage is dissolving.

Us Weekly claims that a split announcement will come in a matter of days, and the mag even goes so far as to name check Russell's alleged new girlfriend as model Denise Vasi, 23.

"They enjoy doing yoga together," says a source.

Reps aren't commenting, but an insider tells our pal Ben Widdicombe that the end is indeed near.

How sad.

Kimora can cry to Oprah all about it AND promote her new book, Fabulosity!!!"

:o:o:o

I'm shocked....

I had a history teacher from California, who *supposedly* had a great friend that was some kind of Hollywood guru. He swore up and down Vin Diesel was gay.... Hmmmmmmmmmmm...

And what's the rumors about Queen Latifah being a lesbian?

I just hope they signed a pre-nup because that house is HUGE! I'm sure she'll want all the money. She just seems like that type of person (from what I saw on MTV Cribs). She's really cute though. And her children are adorable.

For some reason, though, I like her better than him. There's just something about him that I don't like. especially if he cheated on her with that girl he likes "doing yoga" with.

Plus, there were rumour that she was a lesbian too. ???

Why is LL Cool J's image popping into my head??? Am I getting warm, LOL!

I have to admit that Kimora has always gotten on my nerves, but hearing about this impending breakup makes me sad for some reason. Guess 'cuz they share 2 children and when a divorce occurs when children are involved, it's always a sad thing. If Kimora did sign a pre-nup agreement, I doubt it's valid because there are children involved. If Kimora gets sole custody I suspect Russell will be paying a LOT of moola in child support. I just hope this divorce doesn't get ugly like Eddie and Nicole Murphy's divorce. I'm somewhat surprised the media isn't all over that mess.

    • When written correctly or played correctly the antagonist will often have a sizable following, although this can go too far. It's why having a balance and allowing your heroes to be called out by other characters is so important.
    • Billy slapping Mindy is a turning point in '90. And I feel there was a slap between Holly and Blake during the Ross thing.
    • That definitely was her voice.
    • I was going to put this Lisa Brenner interview in the AW thread but I'm not sure she says much about AW in it. I admittedly skipped around a lot as the interviewer's style annoyed me.

    • Today was amazing, for so many reasons. Others have complained certain stories are dragging and others have rightly pointed out, the show only premiered THREE MONTHS AGO! Yes, the caps are dramatic, but I think they seize the moment appropriately. I have watched more than a few soap opera debuts. BTG, is by far, the best, first three months of a show, I have ever seen. MVJ, rightly, found the best in the business to avoid as my pitfalls as they could, to get the show settled quickly. They have found their footing. Is it perfect, no, but is it as close to excellence I've seen this quickly, yes. I loved today's scenes, particularly with Anita. That voice reading the letter, sounded like June

      to me.
    • GH has to be the only soap that still has a courtroom set and I appreciate that as I love courtroom drama on soaps.
    • Ahh ok, that makes sense. Gosh, I didn't remember Frances passing in 1994. I thought she was with us longer than that. She was such a sweet lady and character. Yes, so good and I'm so happy there is a quality version online. I looked it up and AMC won the Best Directing Emmy for 1994, so I have to assume they submitted these episodes. I'm not sure how to find out to confirm, but would only make sense. I still get chills watching it because I remember it so vividly as a 10 year old. Of course the drama of it all to see what happens to your favorite characters pre-spoiler days, but I grew up in the Midwest so tornadoes were a real, scary thing that. We had monthly tornado drills in school, so this made it seem very real to me. Very impressive. It makes me want to go find and compare the Mardi Gras explosion scenes and their second tornado many years later (although I think I remember that being a lot of CGI perhaps). I don't think I've seen those since they first aired. But for 1994, this was very well-done. Ahh - this was the start of Noah! And so many other great things - I really loved AMC from 91-96.
    • Speaking of slaps, there's the infamous Ed slapping daughter Michelle during the Maryanne Carruthers mess in 2003.

    • Tracy’s tossed-off line to Drew about being out of ketamine made me LOL. I feel like some funny gay guy is writing her one-liners lately.
