“Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem” Chapter 2 premieres Monday, July 11 on Peacock with the first of five all-new episodes, and for the first time since the release of the official trailer fans are getting a first look at what to expect from the series with the release of several episodic photos.

We start out with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) enjoying a reunion with his son, Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), in San Francisco during a pride celebration taking place at Paul’s apartment. John and Paul are shown sporting rainbow attire resembling the colors of the pride flag as John works on a beer keg in mid-conversation with one of Paul’s guests.

Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is then shown in the hospital with several noticeable cuts to her face while her brothers Joey (Tanner Stine) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) deal with the elusive Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace). Look for Stephanie to be visited by her equally bruised-in-the-face father, Steve (Stephen Nichols), and her mother, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), among others.

Now in Montreal, Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) reunites with her daughter, Ciara (Victoria Konefal), who just gave birth to Hope’s grandson, Beauregard “Bo” Brady Weston. In the show’s third episode, Hope tries to reassure Ciara who is concerned about what her mother’s been up to in the two years since they last saw each other. Also in the episode, the promise of a night of fun and adventure awaits as several Salemites are invited to Hong Kong for the Dimera Enterprises Gala Event at the Waterfront Hong Kong Hotel, including Paul who invites Andrew Donovan (Colton Little). Speaking of Paul and Andrew, the two share several moments together in the hot tub and at the gym.

While his face isn’t shown, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) shows up at Paul’s place as a police officer, seemingly appearing to respond to noise complaints about Paul’s party. John is noticeably suspicious while Paul is in shock.

Can't wait for this. It looks like its going to be so good. They put so much effort into Season 1 and it paid off perfectly. I hope the same thing happens here.

So Paul is in episode 1, 2 and 3.  Andrew is in episode 2 and 3. He could be in episode 1 at Paul pride party. There's also a pic where Paul and Andrew are slow dancing while dressed up in tuxs.

Oh, that's who that is. I knew he looked familiar. Looks like kissing the Days actors butts and Carlivat's paid off for him. 

So, Carlivati has Paul in a college fraternity like his an 18 yrs old kid. Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer. I hope it's good or at the very least watchable.

      I feel like Earl Hamner and his crew brought in Richard* BECAUSE they knew almost right away that Robert Foxworth was so dull as Chase.  At any event, Richard, IMO, proved to be much more interesting as Angela's chief adversary. (*Or brought him back, depending on whether we're including the original "Vintage Years" pilot).

Frankly, I think it's the best of the L&O franchise as of now.

      I don't mind Jan either. If anything, they could be using her more to get her daughter's POV. Not to mention her role as one of the Have-Nots.    I also don't mind the local talent. Just look at soaps that were in NY or the shows that film there, they always go for the local talent and we get to find new faves.

      I'm not going to watch (because...well...that M-dude...lol) but knowing the history between Henry and Roger, I could see Henry wanting to enable Hart to stay independent of Roger. I could even see it as Henry having the last laugh at Roger. Roger hated "the Henry's" of the world, which basically meant anyone who had money and social prominence. Twice Roger swindled Henry out of a chunk of his fortune, so giving some to Hart, who hates his father, is a form of karma.

      Jon is stuck in a story that isn't popular but with Cady I feel like the issue is that she was clearly thrown in with no real purpose. I still don't understand why she pops up. I recall early on it being said she owned a spa but we've never seen it. That could've been an interesting location for people to meet. She also could've worked better as Smitty's mom, but instead we get this random agent of Dani's who pops up twice a month? A total waste. I mostly agree. I do feel like Jan could be elevated with a name soap actress, someone like Judi Evans or Kassie DePaiva comes to mind, but they're limited to who is in Atlanta. Keeping that in mind I think the current actress is fine.

      It's great to see. My thoughts might be a little different, but for the most part, I am excited and interested in most of the storylines. Yeah, you're right. This is probably how she (Dani) normally acts. And, I do not like it!  I agree; this is another distraction while she heals her wounds. If I weren't an Eva fan, she helped me root for her even more. As I said a month ago, I hope they take their time with her modeling agency. I would love to see her face a few obstacles before becoming a huge success.
