How did Marlena get to Hong Kong so quickly lol.  I wish they made the prisms look cooler than plastic square blocks though lol.  I also wish Steve Burton played something other than Jason with this. The Bo/Hope scenes were nice.  BS2 isn't great, but it's watchable and I am enjoying it.

Actually Caroline said it.

I wish he wasn't in every other scene but I'm glad that he's not playing Jason. He's multi-syllabic, smiles often, doesn't grunt, isn't wearing black, really has a lot of lines, ... all of that is non-J. The only thing he has in common is reaching for a serious handgun often.

Hey, I like Steve Burton more than most here, but he's playing Jason with his stoic demeanor and cold line delivery.  Think of how Steve played Jason Q compared to Jason Morgan.  There was an earnestness and likability to him.  Even early Jason Morgan had that.  The only difference here is that SBu is playing the bad guy not the hero.

Oh, I love Jason Q. I miss the Golden Boy. I'm seeing & hearing warmth that you're not, like every time he smiles with his line delivery. Of course we do see a meanness to him when he is communicating just with Megan Hathaway. All told, i just see more acting variety in this character. Just we disagree, no biggie. Curious, did you ever figure out anything about the DOOL friendships with him, Scott Reeves, Missy, etc.?

I'm not the person you asked, but I think there may have been photoshoots in 1988 with Steve Burton, Missy Brennan Reeves,  etc -- when the characters Eve, Jennifer, Harris Michaels, and Frankie were all airing.  That would have been before Missy married Scott Reeves.

In more recent years, the Burton and Reeves families were all living in the Nashville area.  But Burton is in process of divorcing and I'm not sure where he lives now.

The Bope material today was really nice, and I love that they sprang for the song (and wove it into the Hong Kong gala). That said... we did all this in 2016 during Hope's standalone episode at the Horton cabin. Angel Bo appeared to Hope. Grown-up Angel Zack was there. Even Larry Welch was there to be an ass for a minute. And Bo and Hope had a goodbye dance to "Tonight I Celebrate My Love." So if this is the extent of the reunion... what was the point? I'm holding out hope for some progression tomorrow.

It was all ridiculous!

Redoing Hope shooting was stupid as hell!!

Steve Burton is playing Jason on BS2.

It's a shame Zach was killed off. He could've been part of the gay scene.

The Hope and Bo scenes dragged.

Paul extending his hand to Andrew to slow dance was the best part of the whole episode. Too bad if you blinked you missed their dance and two minute appearance.

John and Steve.... Lord that was cringe worthy bad.

Remington Hoffman sucks. He can't act.

I'm so tired of hearing of prisms. They look like ice cubes.

    • A--I wish someone would post a better vid of the entire ball, as it must be out there. And B--nope. Evie is only in a small segment of the ball with Phillip, Rick and Mindy. She doesn't dance at all. Ross dances with Helena and Amanda. I'm not even sure why Evie is at the ball---Vanessa heartily disliked her. I did see that Billy actually asked Henry to introduce him to Vanessa, which I hadn't realized.
    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!
