I found this facebook post that says she'd be credited as "associate head writer" starting June 3rd, 2019.

I know she was associate head writer but with the WGA Award nominations coming out today which lists her as head writer, I wanted to know when the change took place. I was able to confirm with sources that she is now the co-head writer of the show but not when the change took place.

I wasn't trying to correct you or anything haha! I don't follow this type of stuff but I do love to google.

Oh, my apologies. My response came off wrong. I didn't think you were trying to correct me. I'm just stumped on this since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere that she was upped from associate head writer to co-head writer. At first I thought it was a mistake on the WGA's part but I've since confirmed that she is in fact co-head writer.

That is QUITE interesting indeed...especially on the heels of the switching Ashland news.

The plot thickens...

I am not sure @Errol but I think maybe as far back as last summer? I’ll have to double check for sure, a quick search I did and then I found my own post complaining about Beall lol:

I saw that thread and that's the closest I got to finding out the when. I'll double check with other sources.

I think part of the problem is Y&R never lists writers or their positions in the end credits at all anymore, just in the opening “written by” credits. The end credits nowadays only give either a full cast listing on certain days while other days are broken down into two different groups of miscellaneous technical credits.

The days of Y&R’s fade to black credits at the end of each episode has been over since the MAB era I believe.

This is true. I'm going to do my best to get these details some way, some how since clearly it's of interest to us soap nerds. LOL.

I list the writers after the HWs as Co-HW even though they may not always have officially Co-HWs.  They are second tier type of Co-HWs, that’s what they have the parentheses.    Equal HWs don’t have the parentheses after their name.

Thanks, Toups! The way it was worded to me was that it was some time ago like it was an afterthought of sorts (ie. it was long enough not to be that relevant today). Good to have a timeline of sorts that I can look at.
