Yes, it is. Susan said in SOD that the last time she was on that set, Susan Flannery played Laura.

So it looks like the Kiriakis “sitting room” to me redressed. I think Tom Early (the set designer) has done a mostly good job the last few years, even if sets are just being redressed… but this feels so disjointed with the existing foyer/living room set. I am THRILLED we’re getting a dining room set, esp. for the Horton home, but this misses the mark big time for me. I guess I should reserve harsh criticism until I see more than 2 seconds of it lol.

Primetime stars - Their hits and misses...

I only really became acquainted with her as Keira Knightley's handler on Black Doves for Netflix, which I guess got renewed. Cute little spy romp and Knightley and Ben Whishaw are very good for witty if somewhat shopworn material.

I forgot it existed too. There's way too much streaming shít out there. All shows I never knew came and went on too many platforms. Don't get me started on "The Head," the goofy multi-national thriller series I discovered while on vacation a few years ago hidden deep on HBO, which centers around (you guessed it) a series of murder mysteries all involving a severed head.

Well let me get the bad out of the way since I saw how that Cane/Giggly Heffa episode ended, and I admit that was enough of a cliffhanger (in walked Lily) to keep viewing as background music until I got to the Chris/Danny wedding.

Sold on Lucas Adams as Noah. I felt a way when it was announced, but there's nothing I've seen of him so far that makes me not see Noah. Good on him. And we know I'm living for Tamara Braun as Sienna. And...as for Roger...well like BF as Cane...I found that I liked his Matt vs Sharon (even if I found SC to be overacting which I'm not used to from her) scene even if he had some Todd/Franco moments. But like BF as Cane...the story is a NO for me.

So we are doing Holden/Claire which looks more like a triangle with Audra than Kyle. Okay. Serves Kyle right.

I think I like Cane/Giggly Heffa in a hatred kinda of way and because I live for Lily vs Giggly Heffa. But again...eh on the storyline. I guess it could intrigue due to the chemistry between the actor and actress.

I'm all for seeing Josh Morrow's arms even if I don't like that short-sleeved hoodie. Good to see Matt Cohen, but that chick with him is a NO. It reminded me of Maggie, but not as well acted.

Now as for the wedding...

The set. The camera angles. The returns. The clothes. I loved each and every minute of it.

Gina got an entrance! NINAAAA got an entrance! Amy FINALLY got to interact with Tracy! And I lived for her and Nina going in on Cane. And I really and truly was hoping that Gina was about to kick Giggly Heffa's tail.

Danny cleans up well. And Mmmm to the onion in the back. ;) And Christine looked lovely even if I felt a way about that dress. And I can't believe that Phyllis is such a sore loser that she would try to ruin the day. I guess Cane really was not all that in bed.

So far, so good on the wedding.

It is, although Grammer is very religious so I suppose this may just be where he wants to go. He was involved in that Jesus Revolution a few years ago which was a sleeper hit.
He also produced and maybe appeared in a short-lived US version of a popular British sketch show. A shame it didn't take off here as the sketch format is just about dead outside of SNL.
I kept meaning to watch that Julia shows as Sarah Lancashire is such a good actress. If you ever have time, try to watch some of her work as Raquel on Coronation Street.

I'd forgotten about "Julia," but with so much out there on streaming these days, can you blame me, lol?
Meanwhile, Kelsey Grammer still can't catch a break, even AFTER trying and failing to revive "Frasier." He has tried so many other sitcoms, and even a drama series or two, but nothing has stuck. Now, I see he's doing faith-based films, which is usually a sign that an actor's career has reached the end of the line.
It's really the first time I paid any attention at all to Oldman, since I don't like most films made after 1989 or so.

A World Apart

Thanks for the photos. What a striking presence Dorothy Lyman has always had. She has had a solid career but when you look at her even here you think of what she could have been in an industry that properly respected talent and charisma.
Any time I see that photo I find it remarkable how young Matthew Cowles looks there.

I guess that's better than nothing, but I can see why Norman Fell was still clearly unhappy over the whole thing by the time of the E! True Hollywood Story.
(reports on toxic backstage atmospheres don't hot the same without that show - imagine one for The Good Wife)

Almost exclusively in theater recently, with the exception of that short-lived Julia Child show on HBO. Good for him to know what he wants, a la the also out Tuc Watkins who seems to do just as he pleases these days.
