Members DramatistDreamer Posted January 26, 2022 Members Share Posted January 26, 2022 While the aspect of networks, producers knowing exactly how many people are watching and being able to target ads to viewers is a bit creepy and intrusive, having each viewer actually count, instead of the selective "Nielsen family" system of ratings is something that could have potentially Impacted soaps in a lucrative way when they were in their heyday, but it is likely too late now with the quality being demonstrably lower.
