I read on GHH that the character didn't click, but neither does NuMaxie. Nikolas would be just as bad as Sonny making eyes with someone who looks considerably younger than him. GH shouldn't have axed Matt Marracini who is doing a good job as Jesse, they should fire the almost talentless Kirsten Storms as Maxie and re-hire Robyn Richards to take her place. Members Ryan Posted March 17, 2006 Members Share Posted March 17, 2006 I agree that Matt is a good actor, he just wasn't able to show the many layers that his character SHOULD have been given. Island characters rarely work out anyway (seeing as how he wasn't related to ANYONE in town). I would have preferred if the actor playing Diego was released and recasted (or just written out) instead. So they bring on a new character, pair him with a recently recast one, and shove them down our throats in a badly written story. Then they shift them completely onto the backburner, and in those reduced appearances, both the actor and the character seem appealing. Now they fire him? Grrrr.
