What a legend, especially for Thief and The Gambler.

It's certainly far from the first performance of his one thinks of, but Dogville is one of my favourite films and was what I instantly thought of because the ending of that film is so deeply and viscerally satisfying.

I just went to Bing Images just to look at pictures of him. So many great pictures! And, there's one of him with his son & you can tell how proud he is. Very hard to believe he was 82. Made me sad but made me feel good, too. I was a fan of that Vanessa Marcil show, LAS VEGAS & he was great in it.

Oh God, I'd forgotten the ending of Dogville. What a scene, and he's so good in it with Kidman.
